    Asperchu & Friends

Asperchu

The "hero" of the comic.
  • Abusive Parent: He's incredibly neglectful towards Asperia after he gives birth to her and she turns out not to be how he imagined.
  • Accidental Aiming Skills: He sits during the duel between Sonichu and Walsh playing videogames, but when he throws the controller in rage, he saves the former's life.
  • Demoted to Extra: Justified. As he becomes increasingly selfish and ignorant of his surroundings while the external threats grow in power, he gets sidelined.
  • The Ditz: Being smart isn't exactly his strong point.
  • Flanderization: Asperchu initially starts out as being a bumbling but well meaning protagonist, but soon devolves into a self-centered jerk who whines when he's told to do anything he doesn't want to, and is prone to start playing his portable game system in the middle of a conversation with someone else or a fight that involves his loved ones.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With his "Joy-Boy" Sonichu. At least at first...
  • Kamehame Hadoken: His Asper-Hame-Ha and Jesus-Hame-Ha.
  • The Load: In later issues, he contributes next to nothing and is completely unaware of his surroundings. However, he does help out sometimes by accident.
  • Playing the Victim Card: Rocky The Squirrel convinces Asperchu that having Aspergers means he can't be held accountable for his actions, and that everyone else is jealous of him for how much of a "Special Snowflake" he is.
  • Take That!: A lot of his later jerkass tendencies are based on things done by Sonichu's author.
  • Unwitting Pawn: Of MIPS later in the comic.

Max

One of Asperchu's two best friends, along with Jivin.
  • Expy: He's basically Kirby but with yellow horns and an S on his chest.
  • Only Sane Man: He and Christian are probably the sanest people in the comic.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: He is much stronger than he looks and can beat some of the lesser enemies.
  • Those Two Guys: He's usually seen with Jivin.

Jivin

One of Asperchu's two best friends, along with Max.

    Asperchu's family

Grandpa Alzheichu

Asperchu's grandfather.

Grandma Snorlax

Asperchu's grandmother, who is a Snorlax.

Asperia

Asperchu's daughter, who he gives birth to after drinking Ian's sperm and getting pregnant.
  • Accidental Murder: Accidentally shot by Sonichu.
  • Gonk: Nowhere near as beautiful as Asperchu wanted her to be.

Mitch Chu

Asperchu's gay hairstylist cousin.
  • Camp Gay: A fairly toned-down example, but he doesn't quite talk like a normal person (gay or otherwise).
  • Crucified Hero Shot: Gets crippled, nailed to the wall and executed by Bionic, simply for getting in his way.
  • Take That!: Originally named Mitch Sonichu, he was a redesigned Asperchu created by Christine Weston Chandler, who told Alec he could continue the comic as long as he used the "improved" character. Alec instead turned him into a completely new character and made him gay because, at the time, Christine had some very homophobic views.

    CWCville

Christian Chandler

The TRUE and HONEST mayor of CWCville. After liberating it from Ian, Christian heads the CWCville Restoration project. Based on Liquid Chris.
  • Big Damn Heroes: He saves the protagonists several times. He defeats the Yellow Devil, confronts Ian personally and bails Asperchu out of jail even though Asperchu deserved it.
  • Big Good: The primary heroic force in the comic.
  • Only Sane Man: Shares the spot with Max.
  • Take That!: He once cursed a mall cop with bad luck, which is a potshot at the very first Sub-Episode of Webcomic/Sonichu. It's shown that an actual hero like this version of Christian deeply regrets this action and helped the cop undo the damage he did.
  • The Smart Guy: He's usually the one who plans things out.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Usually he only fights with a knife, but he is really good at using it.

Sonichu

Asperchu's cousin and Christian's son. Both of those statements are lies. He's actually Asperchu and Ian's son.
  • Break the Cutie: Becomes incredibly broken after learning Ian Brandon Anderson is his biological father.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: When he attacks the PVCC, he effortlessly slaughters everyone, except Wes, Giovanni and Mary Lee Walsh, who put up a good fight.
  • The Dragon: To Bionic later in the series.
  • Faceā€“Heel Turn: Learning Ian Brandon Anderson is his biological father causes him to go insane.
  • Handicapped Badass: Getting his arm cut off by Metal Asperchu doesn't stop him from being able to wield a sniper rifle and kneecap Ian.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With his "Joy-Boy" Asperchu. Until his Start of Darkness, that is.
  • Start of Darkness: Learning Ian is his father marks the start of him going insane.

Chaotic Combo

A group of hedgehog Pokemon who assist Christian and Sonichu

    Antagonists

Trolls

A group of Trolls who menace Asperchu.

Sinestro

The leader of the Trolls
  • Big Bad: In early issues, though he eventually becomes Out of Focus as Metal Asperchu takes center-stage.
  • Cruel Mercy: On the receiving end. He gets to live. He gets to see.
  • Demoted to Dragon: After being freed by Bionic and Sonichu, he is forced to work under them to cure Sonichu's illness.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: He is built up as the main villain early on, but this turns out to be far from the truth.
  • Enemy Mine: Teams up with Christian to stop Argentum.
  • The Faceless: In his early appearances his faces was kept hidden, though he eventually shows himself.
  • The Man Behind the Man: The end of Issue 0 reveals him as Lisa's benefactor.

Lisa

John

A Born-Again Baptist that finds Asperchu's videos abhorrent to GodJesus and challenges Asperchu to prove his Christianity. He later conspires with Sinestro to resurrect his girlfriend and seek revenge on Asperchu.
  • Anti-Villain: Allied with Sinestro because he promised he could bring back his girlfriend Kendra. Also only antagonizes Asperchu because he believes Asperchu is blasphemous.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Following the creation of Metal Asperchu, John has yet to make another appearance in the comic.
  • The Fundamentalist: He's a Born-Again Baptist.

Dino Dash

A troll who kidnapped Asperchu.
  • The Brute: He looks pretty strong, though he later gets taken down by Max.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: He's based of Clyde Cash, a real troll who often trolled Chris-Chan. His design is based on Lee Hotti, who Chris-chan believed was how Clyde looked like.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Disguises himself as Jonas Chu to fool Asperchu.

Metal Asperchu

A robot clone of Asperchu constructed by Sinestro to hunt down the Chaos Pickles. He follows his directive, but also betrays Sinestro and goes rogue.

  • Big Bad: Of Issues 1 to 6. His goal of collecting the Chaos Pickles leads the heroes to oppose him.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Forms one with Bionic, aiding him in his goals in exchange for the locations of the Chaos Pickles.
  • Eviler than Thou:
    • He easily defeats Ian by setting him on fire in their first encounter. He needs help to do so in the rematch, but still wins.
    • He eventually gets around to dealing with Sinestro, imprisoning him in a tube and forcing him to watch as he completes Directive 4.
  • Evil Knockoff: Of Asperchu.
  • Gone Horribly Right:
    • All the other Asperchu clones were absolute crap, but Metalchu is so good he betrays his creator Sinestro in pursuit of his programmed goals.
    • Completing Directive 4 backfires on him, as Argentum betrays him in return.
  • Hero Killer: Kills most of the members of the Chaotic Combo, as well as Noir Chu and Aspercream.

Ian Brandon Anderson

A Christian Chandler impostor who took over CWCville and turned it into a Wretched Hive.
  • Arc Villain: Of Issue 3, which involves our heroes trying to liberate CWCville from him.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Get's brutally dismembered by Sonichu.
  • Fat Bastard: He's fat and he's certainly a bastard.
  • Gratuitous Nazis: Not him, but his Sonichu Army are all dressed up in Nazi uniforms.
  • Hate Sink: He's probably the most unlikeable character in the comic, being a terrible parent, an egoistical bastard and a homophobe.
  • Humongous Mecha: He controls Son-Chu when under siege by the heroes, and he nearly wins, even against the evil Metal Asperchu.
  • Irony: Ian might be an imposter of Christian, but it's him, and not Christian, who is Sonichu's real father.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: He is incompetent and stupid, and can't figure out the real deal between Sonichu, Asperchu and Metal Sonichu, but he puts up a good fight in Son-Chu and also possesses Sonichu gradually.
  • Parental Neglect: He neglects both Sonichu and Bionic.
  • Take That!: His character is one towards the real Chris-Chan.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Subverted. He had a large army during the events of the story, as well as a mighty mech, but physically he loses to his past self.

Bionic The Hedgehog

Chris-Chan's first creation, who turned on him after being crippled and suffering neglect at his hands.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Allies with Metal Asperchu, providing him the locations of the Chaos Pickles in exchange for him completing several tasks for him.
  • The Chessmaster: Manipulates nearly everyone in pursuit of his own goals.
  • Evil Cripple: Bionic was already emotionally imbalanced before he lost three of his limbs, an eye, and his vocal chords. But it didn't exactly help.
  • Evil Genius: He was apparently smart enough to construct a base for himself along with several robots. He is also a good manipulator.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: To Ian before turning on him after being brutally injured for his sake and not receiving any gratitude.

Yellow Devil

Bionic's creation and enforcer.
  • The Brute: He's little more than Bionic's muscle. He is also tough to put down.
  • The Dragon: To Bionic, though he eventually ends up sharing it with Sonichu

Argentum

A mysterious being created by Metal Asperchu to complete his Directive 4.
  • All-Powerful Bystander: During Sonichu's rampage, Argentum stayed on the sidelines and watched. He only sent Asperchu to further test Sonichu.
  • Big Bad: As of now, he's the main threat Christian and the others are working against.
  • Eviler than Thou: He betrays and overshadows even Metal Asperchu, telling him death awaits him and making him panic for the first time.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: Exactly what he is and what he wants are unknown.
  • The Omnipotent: His exact amount of power is unknown, but it appears to be near limitless.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: Sinestro states he'll bring about the end of the world.

MIPS

A council of Black Monoliths who seek to bring together the Chaos Pickles for an unknown reason.
