The Galactic Empire
Agent Jahan Cross
Species: Human (Alderaanian)
Homeworld: Alderaan
An Imperial Intelligence agent working directly under Director Isard.
- The Casanova: Like Mr. Bond before him, the ladies sure have the hots for him and almost go for him one after the other.
- Daddy Issues: He blames his father for the death of his mother and sister, because the only reason they were at Coruscant was because they were visiting him at his office the same day that the Separatist happened to attack.
- Dark and Troubled Past: During the Battle of Coruscant, his mother was killed and someone abducted his younger sister to the underworld during the confusion. Jahan committed his first kill in the search for his sister, but was too late and found her dead body instead.
- Insistent Terminology: He's not a hero; he's an agent of the Empire.
- It's the Only Way to Be Sure: He refuses to go back for Inga after the destruction of Eclipse Station, as she may still be infected with the Iron Eclipse, which means she may still try to kill Jahan, and as she is a Patient Zero of the virus, bringing her to the Empire while infected may bring disastrous results.
- Meaningful Name: Cross and bond? John (similar to Jahan) and James? Pretty obvious once you think about it.
- One Degree of Separation: He's a friend of House Organa due to his father being an Alderaanian diplomat, and is also a former classmate of Han (and thus with Baron Soontir Fel) in the Imperial Academy. Also, because his boss is Armand Isard, he's also on amicable terms with Ysanne Isard. He's also high-ranking enough to be assigned a mission to deal with House of Dooku, and he's also faced off against Boba Fett.
- One-Shot Character: He only appears in the Agent of the Empire series.
- Token Good Teammate: He may be loyal to the Empire, but he's doing it because he believes in the good and order it brings to the Galaxy. He seems to be aware that some other Imperials may not have the same ideals in mind. That being said, however, he is willing to kill anyone that stands in his way (not counting children).
- White Hair, Black Heart: Not really. He's unattached and can come off as a jerk sometimes, but he's an Imperial because he believes it brings good to the Galaxy. He does do unambiguously good deeds like hiding Bron on Alderaan
- Would Not Hurt A Child: That's one of the few lines he won't cross.
- Xanatos Gambit: He's a master of these.
IN-GA 44, "Inga"
Species: Human replica droid
Homeworld: Coruscant
Jahan's assault droid partner.
- Apologetic Attacker: She apologizes to Jahan about attacking him, because the Iron Eclipse virus is running her directives now.
- Heroic Sacrifice: She lets herself be destroyed and lost so that the Iron Eclipse virus won't be passed on.
- One-Shot Character: She only appears in the first arc of the Agent of the Empire series.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning
Director Armand Isard
Species: Human
The director of Imperial Intelligence and one of Palpatine's closest allies.
- Abusive Parent: When Ysanne starts to become more capable as an officer, he begins to worry that she may take his position, so he sends her on a mission to Darkknell, hoping she fails and gets executed. Though when it fails and she turns against him, he shows a hint of pride in her for doing so before she kills him.
- Ascended Extra: He's more prominent in the Agent of the Empire comics.
- Da Chief: Orders Jahan on various investigations and assassinations with a cold, easily irritated air of authority.
- Social Darwinist: He has no sympathy for those he sees as weak.
- Stealth Insult: Ysanne names a correctional facility after him, though not out of honoring his memory.
- Undying Loyalty: To Palpatine, who he believes is worthy to lead because of his strength and ruthlessness.
Ysanne Isard
Alessi Quon
Species: Slilussi
- Gadgeteer Genius: He makes Jahan's weapons.
- The Reliable One: The most loyal and supportive of Jahan's colleagues.
- Token Minority: The only prominent alien in the service of the empire to appear.
Emesh Nar
Species: Human
- Corrupt Bureaucrat: An ambassadors aide who has obviously been bought by the Starks.
Royd Pew
Species: Human
- Bad Boss: He openly insults the very capable Quon and after seeing a glider he'd been working on fail (the pilot survived but it looked for a moment like he might not have) Pew just sighs and says the wings will need more work.
- Fantastic Racism: He resents having to have Quon, an alien, working in his department.
- Opaque Nerd Glasses: A scientific developer who wears glasses which his eyes aren't visible for.

After his uncle's death at the end of the Clone Wars, Adan returned home and reclaimed his title, but was later assassinated by Jahan under orders from the Empire, which was working in the interest of a rival Serennian family, House Borgin.
- Bait-and-Switch Tyrant: Because of his lineage, you probably thought he was a bad dude. Turns out that he's a genuinely nice guy, especially since he's a friend of Bail. In fact, he's not too entirely fond of his uncle.
Count Bron Dooku

- Parental Neglect: Jahan isn't fond of him for being absent in his family life for politics.
Rodas Borgin
Species: Human
- Aristocrats Are Evil: He is behind an assassination for his own ambition, killed his own father (albeit with a gooddeal of angst) to survive being executed by the Empire, and is an all-around heel to his wife and son.

Iaclyn Stark
Species: Human
- Disc-One Final Boss: He initially seems to be the Big Bad of the arc, but is really taking orders from his father, and is implied to be doing so more out of fear than loyalty. Sure enough, he is murdered for going again Iaco at the end of the penultimate issue.

Dimity
Species: Human
- Boisterous Weakling: Not normally, but despite his towering physique, he won't risk going against Chewbacca.
Dakka Fasser
Species: Human
- Dirty Cop: Heavily implied. At the very least, she kowtows to local financial interests.
- Jerkass: Flat out tells Jahan he's being arrested because it's what the Starks wants and insults and threatens her subordinates for something that wasn't entirely their fault.
- Karma Houdini: She's never shown being punished for her abrasiveness and possible corruption.
