Bottle Episode / Big City Greens

Go To

Big City Greens has quite a bunch of bottle episodes.

  • The episode "Dream Weaver" takes place completely inside the Greens' house, with occasional shifts to the dream sequences.
  • "Swimming Fool" has the only location being the Community Center pool, while "Photo Op"'s only location is the Big City Mall, and it is completely indoors.
  • "Space Chicken" takes place entirely at the Green's house. "Family Legacy" and "Level Up" follow suit, with a brief scene at Big Coffee in the latter.
  • "Rated Cricket" is set only at a movie theater.
  • "Winner Winner" and "Valentine's Dance" take place completely inside the community center.
  • "Blood Moon" is this, unusual since it's a double-length episode, with the episode set entirely around the Greens' main territory (preferably their house and the Elkins building). "Forbidden Feline" and "Cricket's Place" follow suit.
  • "Urban Legend" is likewise only set at the Greens' house, with short scenes of the street and hardware store.
  • "Garage Tales" is set entirely in the Greens' garage, hence the title. It does however shift to Gramma's flashbacks, and has a brief scene in her bedroom at the end.
  • "Desserted" is set entirely inside the restaurant the Greens visit, particularly the table they sit at.
  • "Cheap Show" exaggerates, being that the entire episode is a complete jab at this. The whole episode is set in the Greens' living room because "production costs" were low, and Cricket even lampshades this at one point.
Cricket: I need to experience somethin' new, with an actual location, and people!
  • "Bat Girl" is set entirelly on a baseball field.
  • "Trivia Night" is set entirely at the café (barring the Imagine Spots in Cricket's brain)
  • Except for the opening, "Pie Hard" is set entirely at Patty's Diner.
  • A majority of episodes of Season 3B, specifically "Country Side", "Rat Tail", "Frilly Tilly", "Study Abroad" and "Honey Heist", take place completely at and around the Greens' country house, never leaving it.
  • "Bunny Farm" takes place entirely on the Greens' country farmlands, with a brief shot of Mass Produce in Nancy's explanation of the bunny invasion.
