  • "Fill Bill" begins with the Greens entering a seafood restaurant for dinner and ends with them getting banned for good and kicked out.
  • The first scene of "Green Streets" has Cricket on the front lawn happy; the last scene has him picking up trash from the lawn looking sad.
  • "Green Christmas" ends with the first scene of the episode done in reverse; it starts with a pan down from the sky to the house, and ends with a pan up from the house to the sky.
  • "Dream Weaver" starts with Cricket waking up in the middle of the night excited while his family is sleeping; the episode ends with him worn out and tired while his family wakes up excited.
  • "I, Farmbot" starts and ends with Cricket and Bill at Overhaüls.
  • Near the end of the first ten of Season 1, Cricket gets a job at Big Coffee; before the last ten of Season 2, he gets fired.
  • A literal case with "Quiet Please"; the episode starts and ends with the episode title appearing on the cover of a book.

  • Season 3B began with the Greens leaving Big City and moving back to the country; it ends with them leaving the country and returning to Big City permanently while Nancy stays behind.
  • "Country Side" starts in Cricket and Remy's room as they wake up excitedly and bother Tilly; it ends with them back in the room grounded and making the best out of it, while Tilly is not bothered due to getting her own room.
