Awesome Music / Ultima III

Go To

The original Commodore 64 version took full advantage of the hardware's SID chip to create memorable music that would evolve in later editions.

  • "Wanderer" was the overland music, and it had to be good enough to not get tiring, as the player would be subjected to it constantly. The Amiga and NES versions of the tune fleshed it out with layers of the theme.
  • "Towne" was the jaunty music heard when in most of the villages and at Lord British's castle.
  • "Battle" was the music played while fighting enemies, an appropriately tense theme that did give the impression of action and desperation.
