Shark Tale, the Club Oscar short and its tie-in video game, contain a whale of a good soundtrack.
- Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott's cover of Rose Royce's "Car Wash" is seen by many as the Signature Song of the film for a lot of good reasons including a contrast between Aguilera's vocals and Missy's rapping about the Shark Slayer. The two game-exclusive remixes just furthers add to how well this song fits the film as a whole.
- "Good Foot" by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland sounds hip, cool and proud of it thanks to its memorable chorus.
- "Three Little Birdies" by Ziggy Marley is a good version of his father Bob Marley's hit.
- The song that people seem to remember most is Mary J. Blige and Will Smith's remix of “Got to Be Real”, which was played in a lot of commercials for the film and contains one of Will Smith's best rap verses.
- "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer is heard in both the video game and short and will make you think of "Stop! Oscar time!"
- Somehow, they got Kevin Manthei (of Invader Zim, Ultimate Spider-Man (2005), and Twisted Metal: Black) to work on the game's soundtrack... and he manages to make his dark style work in the game's frantic Gameplay Roulette favor with tracks such as "Shark Slayer", "Hammerhead Fight", "Race to the Track" and more.
