Awesome Music / Digimon Data Squad

  • "Believer", the Insert Song used for whenever a significant Digivolution activated during the Japanese version of the series. Starting off with a fast paced techno-esque beat before transitioning into a full on rock track, this will get you hyped up for whenever the heroes of DATS step up to the plate to take the fight to the next level. It plays during Masaru's clash against Kurata/Belphemon, as well as Yggdrasil, perfectly accompanying the Burst Mode debuts of ShineGreymon and Agumon himself respectively as the two and Masaru go to town on their foes.
  • Being the first opening not by Wada Kouji, Gou-ing! Going! My Soul! is an optimistic tune along with an uplifting beat that makes it worth listening to.
  • The English theme for Digimon Savers/Digimon Data Squad, while rather short compared to prior Digimon opening themes, is a nice little tune, particularly with a great-sounding "unleash your soul" lyric.
  • Wada Kouji returns to sing the second opening, Hirari. Its emotive yet hopeful lyrics go well with this melancholic bittersweet tune.
  • The English dub music, particularly the opening used as an instrumental during Digivolution sequences and throughout fight scenes. The guitar solo in the extended version that plays in certain moments, especially so. This is especially true when you listen to the Digivolution sequences. As the Digivolutions upscale, so does the music, adding more instruments and increasing the tempo. This practice ultimately reaches its climax upon Burst Mode, where its first notes can be absolutely chilling.
