  • Clara standing up to the boys who used her for snacks by crushing one of them with a vending machine.
  • After seeing Kiriwo's true nature and plan to blow up the school with the fireworks, which Iruma himself has helped in creating. Contrary to Kiriwo's expectations, Iruma does not feel despair at all and instead decides to foil his plan since in his own words:
Iruma: Well, nothing good comes out of despair.
  • Iruma then throws the bomb into the air with Sullivan's magic and lets them go off in a safer distance.
  • During Kiriwo's lockdown, the teachers of Babyls also did not stay still and they managed to create an opening for Robin to shoot an arrow all the way to Sullivan who is under interrogation of going to the human world. Once Sullivan gets the message, he immediately speeds off and prevents any damage the bomb's debris could cause.
  • Iruma in his "Wicked Phase" coordinating and leading his class in getting the signature of every teacher and they succeed to. This gets even better when you realize that Iruma's "Wicked Phase" only changes his personality, which means that he has those skills within him.
    • The moment that Iruma sits on the throne, everyone goes silent. It's such an awe-inspiring moment that Asmodeus was hit by a vision of Iruma as the Demon King, which he can only describe as "the future".
    • Notably while some of the signatures (most notably Momonoki's) were gotten by underhanded tactics, most of the signatures were earned legitimately by the Misfits by besting or impressing their respective professors, with all of them (sans Kalego) wanting to see how far they could go.
  • In order to escape the underground cave he is stuck in, Iruma decides to put some of his blood on a plant. Cue an earthquake which every demon on the hunting ground feels, while looking in awe at the plant which has grown to outright colossal size in an instant with Iruma on top of it and looking as cheerful as always.
  • During the Harvest Festival arc, Iruma saves Clara from being attacked by a monster, who she sees as Iruma thanks to another student's magic. Iruma summons his most powerful bow and one-shot snipes the monster from a very considerable distance.
  • Even though they managed to impress him, Poro Amduscias still showed what an actual former Thirteen Crown can do; with a single note he created a whole river that swept up the entire misfit class. It's a small reminder that no matter how fast these kids are progressing, there are still much greater heights to be achieved. Especially since Poro is one of the few people not intimidated by Sullivan; even the current Thirteen Crowns watch what they say around him. This implies that even if he's retired, Poro is far stronger than any of the current Thirteen, and may even be a match for one of the great three demons.
  • When Iruma is invited to the Thirteen's Dinner, a prestigious affair where the Thirteen Demon Lords and the three Elders eat and dine together, Iruma inadvertently unnerves and impresses the members who are present. He does this not with some feat of magic, tale of his adventures, or commanding presence. He does this by being himself and politely asking for seconds, after amassing a large number of cleared plates of food. No one has ever asked for seconds before. After seeing his insatiable gluttony, one of them gets chills at the thought of what this would mean if he becomes the Demon King.
  • During the battle in Walter Park, Kalego, Balam, and Opera team up to defeat a giant monster that is a fusion of three already giant monsters. While the kids watch in wonder as they go to work, expecting a long and difficult battle, the three instead turn it into a Curb-Stomp Battle with three simultaneous attacks that slap it flat to the ground. As described by the students, it's less that they had to battle it together and more that they simply beat it senseless individually at the same time.
  • Kalego and Opera duking it out to grab hold of Iruma to either force or prevent him to summon Kalego to continue the contract gets a pretty epic fight. Followed swiftly behind by Balam managing to get between two full-out blows from each of them with a magical shield.
  • When Asmodeus faces off against Professor Eito during the Heartbreakers arc, who is even more skilled in fire magic than himself, he refuses to give in, and then uses an original fire spell that bridges the power gap enough that Eito acknowledges that Asmodeus is more than deserving of being promoted past Rank 4 (Daleth).
  • Despite being horribly beaten up and outmatched in the Heartbreakers arc, Camui refuses to stay down.
  • Near the end of the arc, the students are close to loading the machine with mana to prevent Sullivan from being summoned. In the meantime, Robin had readied his bow in the distance, waiting for the perfect moment to strike all of the balloons at once. The moment he lets go, his arrow could not be stopped and the teachers would win... then Iruma deviates his focus by shooting an arrow at him, allowing the students to keep Sullivan sealed.
  • Chapter 247:
    • This entire chapter is basically just Sabnock's finest moment. And he starts by doing a dramatic entrance *through a wall* and challenging two teachers to a fight (one of whom is the supercharge Momonoki, who cannot run out of mana currently).
    • He proceeds to singlehandedly hold the line against the two teachers as Kerori, Elizabetta, and the juniors under Camui seal off Sullivan's chamber. And when Buer tries to sneak around while Momonoki drew his attention, Sabnock backhands him with a javalin to show that he's no longer just blindly chasing targets, he's fully aware of his surroundings and his objective, which means he also knows he can't win against two teachers, but he also knows he doesn't have to win, he just needs to distract them long enough. Buer is so impressed by this and Sabnocks's overall progress in just one year that he willingly takes the bait.
  • Chapter 261:
    • Iruma's childhood of abuse allows him a sort of Spider-Sense to alerting him to danger. He successfully picks up on Atori's silent approach and with only a second to respond, calls on Kalego to defend him. While his familiar form is weaker than his true body, Kalego does just that and puts up an impressive force of protection, though Atori over comes it still.
    • As Atori over comes Kalego and is cocooning Iruma in his webbing, Shida arrives and slams a kick into Atori's back to save Iruma.
  • Chapter 262:
    • With Shiida saving Iruma, the other teachers soon arrive, Eito, Suzy, March, Mononoki, and Buer, with the former two attacking Atori for good measure. Then Sullivan walks in on the confrontation making it clear Atori is screwed thirteen ways to Sunday.
    • Amduscias then arrives with a music that makes every teacher save Sullivan to their knees and opens a hole in the ceiling to save Atori.
  • Chapter 264:
    • After the Atori situation has past and Sullivan departs to handle matters, Dali lures Iruma's team close under the guise of relief they are okay only to pop Garson's balloon. He then turns his focus to Azz as they still have thirty seconds left in the competition. Despite all three weakened and weary from the competition, Team Asmodeus is able to hold off Dali and protect Silvia's balloon, meaning they win the competition.
  • Chapter 265:
    • Azz shows off his character development. Where before at the start of his First Year he only cared about himself and then Iruma, as he is getting praised for winning the tournament, he feels it is unjust to be the only one selected. He feels his team only survived because of the hard work the other Misfits.
    • Allocer proves to be a Big Damn Heroes having saved one of Jazz's teammates, Chimii Pemopemo, who can shrink to tiny sizes and hid her in his pocket during the Atori attack. Neither Ipos nor Oswell noticed and failed to pop her balloon when they did the other three. This allows Team Jazz to be declared winners as well.
  • Chapter 279:
    • When the Misfits are facing the 6-second wall, an anti-magic wall on which any magic last just 6 seconds, they nearly give up hope. But Shida is allowed to give some guidance and advice, and the thirteen Misfits succeed in climbing up the wall.
    • Then Opera reveals to them the true purpose of the Training from Hell. The only way they could cast a spell to make a platform and move quickly to it and then to the next created platform in that 6-second span before they vanish is if they use the transform spell non-verbally. Each one of them has now fully mastered the spell.
  • Chapter 287-288:
    • Opera would not allow Iruma to go to the Deviculum unless his safety could be guaranteed. This results in Iruma ending up (through Azz) getting the help of Amuryllis, Azz's mom and one of the Thirteen Crowns, to volunteer as his guardian. When Opera objects, Amuryllis shows just how powerful one of the Thirteen Crowns are; Opera has been able to beat up just about anything up to this point but cannot penetrate Amuryllis's own aura (which manifests as a harem of beautiful demonic women) without the latter's permission. This eventually causes them to relent and allow Iruma to attend, with a hint of pride at Iruma able to outsmart them.
