Not to mention that time when, despite being impaled on Blood Robe's naginata, proceeds to use his tail and body to shatter the weapon and give Ushio a fighting chance. Or the fact that he managed to pickpocket the comb from Ushio's pockets when he was turned into a crazy beast by overusing the spear.
Tora, alone, Curb-Stomp Battle Gamin, an entire group of 5 head youkais. Even more so because, up untill then, the Gamin-sama were hyped up as pretty though monsters, and they're shown blocking the Beast Spear and wounding Ushio easily. Tora, in short order, proceed to literally pancake the son in the concrete with one slam, bite the grandfather in half and, when the three surviving members bite him in his arms and head, he laughs at them and proceed to unleash his lightning, frying them all to charcoal.
Trapped inside Ayakashi's stomach, Ushio accidentally rips off the red cloth from the spear, not knowing that it was its Power Limiter. The result? Not only the spear stabs Ayakashi's real head squarely in the eye, but it also allows Ushio to plow through Ayakashi's entire body like a burning hot knife through butter.
Hitotsuki vs the western Serpent Yokai: the latter is faster, hits harder and is too hard-skinned to feel Hitotsuki's attacks, so what does he do? Answer: use his serpent mouths to block off the enemy's heads, proceed to remind him that, in spite of his faults, he has a healthy appetite and proceeds to swallow him whole in one gulp, even commenting on him having a terrible taste.
