Awesome / Undercover Boss

Go To

  • The Pizza Pizza episode of Undercover Boss Canada actually had the boss, Paul Goddard, get a job offer. Seeing as the bosses usually fail miserably and get fired, this was a Moment of Awesome for Goddard and the series.
    • His employee's reaction to finding out he was CEO: "So, I guess you won't be starting on Tuesday?"
  • In the ADT episode, Tony Wells, disguised as an Emergency Dispatcher in one of the jobs is initially getting test calls. But when a customer calls in a real emergency where their mother fell in the driveway and can't get up, Tony and his instructor immediately spring into action and call in EMS to help. He doesn't even flinch when saving the day for the woman.
  • Almost any time the boss prematurely breaks their act specifically because they're sick of the shit going on under them. The Checkers episode for example has Rick witness a manager verbally abuse the untrained employees. After telling him to knock it off only gets him undermined as knowing nothing about the business, he nonchalantly points out he is in fact CEO of the company, prompting a huge Oh, Crap! from the manager. He then immediately closes the restaurant, apologises to the staff for the terrible conditions they suffered under his business, and starts upon renovations the next day.
  • The manager of Buffalo Wings being put in his place by his staff and the boss.
