  • Frank's introduction scene. All tooled up in a riot gear, protecting random strangers from bunch of infected - by beating said infected to death in few seconds. And then offering everyone a drink.
  • The entire group working together to change a flat tire. Despite swarm of rats running around and infected closing in, pouchy Frank, small-build Selena and malnutritioned Jim all lift together their hackney carriage - since they don't have time for a jack - while teenage Hannah is doing her very best to change the tire and allow them to drive away.
  • Jim's Roaring Rampage of Revenge near the end - particularly the parts involving him taking a guy out with a car wrench and basically skewering a guy through the stomach on his own bayonet, and freeing the infected soldier Mailer to cause some chaos. He knows that he can't take the squad of trained soldiers head-on, as that would be practically suicide. So he decides to take them on by manipulating events to his advantage. An Awesome Moment that also happens to double as a scary mental breakdown. This all culminates in Jim brutally attacking Mitchell, the most sadistic of West's soldiers, repeatedly slamming his head against the wall, and gouging out his eyes with this thumbs, while Mitchell shrieks in agony.
    • Mailer DEFINITELY gets one as, despite being an infected, when Jim frees him, he does not try to climb up the wall that Jim is perched on to kill him, but runs off into the house to get the soldiers who imprisoned him.
    • Hannah's CMOA is less gruesome than Jim's, but her backing the cab through the front door of the mansion so that West would be torn apart by his own infected soldiers definitely counts. Double props because she was high as a kite at the time.
  • Selena reviving Jim at the end. He was shot in the chest, the hospital had been abandoned for God knows how long and she only had a teenage girl to help her. Girl's got skills.
  • Sergeant Farrell is the only soldier who did not agree with Major West’s plan to have any female survivors raped as part of some sick twisted way of restoring civilisation back. Farrell's reasoning is that its only been a month since the outbreak started and that it’s likely that the Island of Great Britain is quarantined. He is the only one to see that West has gone insane, so even though he was outnumbered he still does what any decent person would have done: protecting Jim, Selena and Hannah from the monsters the squad become. When he gest subdued and along with Jim to be murdered by Mitchell and Jones, he decides to sacrifice himself to give Jim enough time to escape - by goading Jones to shoot him, knowing that Jones won’t allow Mitchell to torture anyone to death. In the ensuing confusion Jim managed to get away from them and ultimately ends up saving Selena and Hannah by luring West and one of the soldiers away to the blockade, damage their car and return to the mansion, picking the soldiers there one by one with the unwitting help of infected Mailer. This makes Farrell’s sacrifice worthy of a hero and will likely be remembered as the one soldier who has never gone rogue and did his duty to the very end like a true soldier protect and serve the people.
    • Unfortunately for everyone, in all three sequel timelines, Jim is sentenced for life imprisonment for killing British soldiers on active duty. In fact, the longest running comic series heavily implied it was all to cover what kind of barbarism the squad under West was planning to do, while blaming it on a victim. And since there is no mention of Farrell's actions, it's likely he was added to the body count for which Jim is serving time.
