  • The ruthless Curb-Stomp Battle between Dobbs, Curtin, and their Con Man boss Pat McCormick, where Dobbs and Curtin beat McCormick senseless. It's incredibly cathartic to see the man who had got away several times with cheating everyone out of their money, finally get some karma.
    • There's also a small, but notable scene where Dobbs takes some of McCormick's money, counts it and only takes the amount he was owed. The moment shows that he does have a conscience and not necessarily greedy at the start.
  • The sole fact that Howard — who must be in his 60s — is still incredibly active and in shape, definitely qualifies. He quickly shows the audience that he's more than just the town lunatic. He's able to climb up a tortuous, steep slope as if it were nothing, understands fluent Spanish and can translate it, and knows the path to the gold as if he constantly went there.
  • Howard humorously mocking Dobbs and Curtin for not noticing the gold along with his crazy Happy Dance.
  • Humphrey Bogart is absolutely magnificent in his portrayal of the tragic, fallen hero. This includes his voice changes, the way his face started to change with his demeanor, and how his constant paranoia his portrayed. Definitely not to be overlooked.
  • Any time the trio battles Gold Hat and his bandit troop. Including this one time when Gold Hat tries to manipulate Dobbs into thinking he's not a threat only for Dobbs to shoot at his hat pierce a giant hole. Then Gold Hat tries again offering to trade him a gold watch in return, and this time Howard blasts the watch, destroying it.
  • Howard healing the extremely sick Indian child through an unknown ritual.
