• During a 1994 concert in Dallas, Texas, David Yow was beamed in the head with an empty beer bottle chucked by an audience member, causing him to collapse on stage. Not only does the show go on once Yow gets back on his feet and the glass is cleared from the stage, but Yow also taunts his unknown assailant beforehand, requesting they throw a bottle at the other side of his head too in order to "get some symmetry going here". The audience's sympathetically outraged reaction to the incident is oddly heartwarming too - at one point a woman can be heard calling out something like "Sorry he was such an asshole, David!".
