  • In "How to Train Your Carl", Mrs. Chang saves Carl from being Eaten Alive by Keyon the komodo dragon.
  • In "Team Effort", Laird of all people is shown to be a good skateboarder. Granted, he has trouble stopping, but it's still impressive.
  • In "Uptown Funk", Adelaide, despite only being six years old, knows enough about trains to get the train back under control after Carl accidentally sends it out of control.
  • In "Blunder Party", Ronnie Anne and her friends send Carl and Adelaide on a scavenger hunt. It was meant to be a Snipe Hunt, but the two little kids manage to actually find all the objects.
  • In "Fails from the Crypt", Ronnie Anne and her friends (even Laird, who still uses a security blanket!) not only manage to spend the entire night at the cemetery without bailing out (which nobody apart from her grandparents, Vito, and Sergio has been able to do in years) but (with the exception of Laird) they managed to prank those four back after being pranked by them.
  • In "Short Cut", CJ is revealed to be able to style hair in the dark.
  • "Karate Chops" reveals that Carl, and especially Adelaide, are very good at karate for their age (eight and six respectively).
  • Carlitos proves himself to be rather smart for a baby in "Fluff Love" — he knows the way to the arcade, reasons that he can't make it there on foot, and is able to use the pigeons to get Laird out of the way.
  • In "Prankaversary", Sid, despite being a newbie prankster, manages (along with Adelaide) to fool Ronnie Anne, a notorious prankster.
