  • While the second movie is Lighter and Softer, The Shredder gets a moment when at The Foot Headquarters, Tatsu challenges anyone to face him for leadership only for Shredder to walk through the door and states that he challenges Tatsu and The Foot's reactions to his return.
Tatsu: I, Tatsu, now lead. Any who challenge, step forward!
Shredder: (stepping into view) I challenge!
(Tatsu looks towards the door with a Who Dares? expression, which turns into Oh, Crap! at record speed)
    Foot Recruit: ....his (Shredder's) face....
    Tatsu: (utterly stunned) ...Master... Shredder...
    • He does it again when his men capture Raphael, who mocks and laughs at his captors, until the moment Shredder shows up. Raphael's Defiant Captive attitude completely vanishes.
  • When the other Turtles try to save Raph, they end up getting caught in a net, with which the Shredder plans on having them Impaled with Extreme Prejudice. Before this can happen, Splinter once more shows up and cuts the net open with a single arrow shot.
    Splinter: Cowabunga.
  • Say what you will about the logic in the scene, but you gotta give credit to Movie!Vanilla Ice for coming up with an impromptu song-and-dance number on the spot when the Turtles crash his gig.
  • Professor Perry shouts down Shredder himself when he wants to destroy the infantile Tokka and Rahzar.
  • In one scene, Raphael helps Keno cheat his way through a near-impossible test: removing a series of bells from a mannequin while unable to see due to using a smokescreen. In complete silence. As soon as the smokebomb clouds the room, Raph's faint silhouette can briefly be made out, and only the swift movements of his arms can be heard, before the smoke clears and Keno is holding every single bell. The scene expertly demonstrates that while the Turtles may walk around in broad daylight, wear terrible disguises, and ham it up in stealthy situations, they are still trained and professional ninja. Not only that, but the scene also demonstrates that despite his attitude and arguments with Leo and Splinter, Raph still takes his training very seriously.
  • Props have to be given to Vanilla Ice in this movie; he's doing a concert right next to the Foot Clan's hideout, and the turtles and mutants end up accidentally crashing the event. Rather than run away, he comes up with "Ninja Rap" on the spot and goes straight back to performing. Way to keep a cool head.
  • And of course, the badass-looking Super Shredder. Gaze upon his awesomeness and despair!
Leonardo: The last vial of ooze! He must have drank all of it!
    Donatello: It's a Super-Shredder!
