• At a show in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2012, fans surprised the band by releasing a cloud of yellow and green balloons. The delighted looks on the boys' faces were pretty awesome.
• Just how different all of their albums sound from each other. Take the mainly Synth-Pop The Hurting and compare it The Seeds of Love, which took influence from jazz, gospel, new age, and 60s psychedelia.
• In the "Epic Songs of '85" episode of The Top Ten Revealed, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" was ranked as the best single of that year.
