• The story starts off with one, as Charle rushes Wendy to safety when the two are thrown from Tenrō Island, fighting a churning ocean before rushing her through the air with her flight towards a deserted island for safety.
  • The next chapter continues the awesome train for Charle, who apparently took an unconscious Wendy from the deserted island all the way to Fiore, exhausting her magical power and pushing herself to the brink to do so.
• The fact that Doranbolt made it into Lamia Scale without even Jura noticing speaks to his credit.
• Wendy takes her first steps towards getting over her grief by taking on the S-Rank job.
• Max in the fourth chapter. A man who was honestly a joke character in the original manga gets an awesome moment all to himself. When the citizens of Crocus mock Team Wendy — even little Wendy herself, who was reduced to tears — Max verbally and physically defends his team, slugging one of the hecklers before Doranbolt has to teleport them out to avoid a scene.
• The Robin Hoodlums invasion of Mercurius Castle is full of Awesome moments for both the villains and the heroes.
  • The way Handsome is introduced, it is clear that the man is some measure of Wicked Cultured, but he makes it very plain that he is first and foremost a One-Man Army. Manifesting weapons from his forearm, he manages to take out the Mercurius Soldiers on his own, a staggering feat for a regular mage. He then goes on to fight Doranbolt.
    • In that battle, Wendy throws herself into the thick of it, before Doranbolt tells them all to leave it to himself. For all her issues, Wendy is no coward.
  • Eris, an elf who easily handles Wendy, Max, and Charle on her own, shows just how much being a martial mage is pointless in the hands of a powerful individual. She uses a terrifying variety of magic to accomplish this, and yet Max manages to keep her at bay with a powerful Sand Rebellion after Wendy increases his parameters with her enchantments.
