The Original

  • Cyborg Agents are Made of Iron, which can result in sheer awesome. Watch as they drive a car, only for the car to explode in a fireball incinerating nearby civilians, and the augmented agents walk out of the flaming wreckage with guns blazing as they attack the enemy.

The 2012 Game

  • At the end of the "Escape From L.A." chapter, Agent Kilo has to fight an Aspari airship. With a minigun. While riding on the back of a speeding train. While dozens of smaller Aspari ships are also gunning for him. It ends with said airship going down in flames.
  • The mere fact that Agent Kilo is, according to in-game documentation, not the best agent, or even necessarily a very good agent, but instead considered just good enough that he can be used to test the DART 6 implant. If he manages to use it effectively, then they'll get valuable training data for using the implant on better agents, and their barely-effective agent in Kilo will be just a little bit better. If he dies, well, he was expendable. Throughout the game, Kilo goes on to show that he's a brutally effective agent instead, besting everyone he comes up against and succeeding despite seemingly impossible odds.
  • EVERY SINGLE BOSS FIGHT.
    • The first boss fight against Aspari Agent Tatsuo, with you having to take full advantage of the DART 6 Augment mode to take him down, all while Skrillex's epic dubstep is playing.
    • The fight against Cayman Global Agent Ramon. With your weapons disarmed, and he is fitted with a homing grenade launcher, you hack his grenades and turn it against him.
    • The fight against TWB leader Kris Delaney counts as well, being a normal man, and unlike you and the previous bosses, he had no chip implants.
    • The first boss fight against an Eurocorp agent, Agent Crane.
    • The final boss fight against the twin agents, Strong and Webb, and Agent Merit.
