Is it any surprise that this game is chock-full of spectacular moments?

In General

  • Some of EVE's finishing moves are absolutely breathtaking, especially when she runs an enemy through and uses both the blade and her own weight combined with her momentum to fling it over her head before kicking it away and slicing right through.

Main Story

  • The intro cutscene following the 7th Airborne Division and the Naytibas' assault on each other's forces. The monsters are becoming smarter, it seems, and they find a way to maneuver their fliers around the Airborne Division's shields, striking and exploding many of Mother Sphere's ships with the force of dozens of kamikaze attackers. At the same time, the Division dropping their forces out of the main warship and sending them rocketing down to Earth to save the planet is truly spectacular - and nerve-wracking from EVE's point of view.
  • Our first proper look at EVE as Tachy gives her a hand and dramatically yanks our gorgeous protagonist out of her pod in slow motion as her nano-suit forms around her. The lighting and the way her hair moves in slow-mo are breathtaking.
  • The tag team finishing moves that EVE and Tachy perform together on the Elite Naytiba, complete with simultaneous slicing and somersaulting. Tachy notes with pride that EVE is already doing even better than in her training sessions.
  • EVE finishes off her epic duel against Gigas by plunging her blade into the Alpha's head-ring before ripping it out along with its Alpha Core.
  • Heartbreaking though it may be to see what she has become, it still makes for an incredibly menacing and ominous moment when Tachy is dropped from the ceiling of the Power Plant, alive and reformatted using an Alpha Core. Cue epic transformation sequence.
  • The climactic duel between EVE and Alpha Tachy is truly one for the history books, complete with Tachy pulling out the One-Winged Angel mode - literally - then adding a second wing using her Alpha Naytiba tentacles before taking off into the air and launching sword beams along with teleporting and using the Flash Step.
  • EVE confronting the Winged Alpha for a spot of sweet vengeance in the rematch.
  • The Reveal that the Unidentified Naytiba (aka the Winged Alpha) has actually been Raven all along - and she retains her cunning mind and intellect along with unfathomable power.
  • EVE surpassing Raven herself in the Pre-Final Boss battle and dishing out the most satisfying kind of karma imaginable by ripping off her left arm. Good Is Not Soft indeed.
  • EVE is just full of crazy awesome moments, but perhaps none more so than when she stands up to her own creator Mother Sphere and takes her on (or rather, she duels the Mother Sphere-controlled Providence), accepting her Fusion Dance with Adam and bravely facing the true enemy of the story.

Side Quests

  • Doubles as a heartwarming moment, but our heroine is willing to take on as many side quests for the citizens of Xion as possible, even all at once. Several occasions, the individual in need will say they have no way of repaying her or ask what she gets out of it, but her reply is always along the lines of "I don't need a reason or reward to help someone."
  • EVE and Lily working together to give Enya a completed android body. The final result is truly stunning and she looks as gorgeous as one might expect from the hard work of a super soldier and a genius mechanic.
