  • Completing the community center. This requires you to gather a lot of different resources, some of which can take in-game months to produce or cost a small fortune at the trader caravan. But it's worth it when you see the town revitalized and all the villagers come together again. The fact that you get revenge on JojaMart for making you work in miserable conditions at the game's prologue is icing on the cake.
  • Creating a highly profitable farm. It's possible to end up being the wealthiest citizen in the valley and to run out of things to spend that money on.
    • On the way to this one, the first time you step outside your house the morning after you have set up sprinklers to water all of your crops, so you no longer have to do it all with your watering can. So much time saved!
  • Completing Mr. Qi's objectives in Skull Cavern while using no more than 10 staircases. You not only proved yourself a great warrior, but kept your honor intact as well.
  • Obtaining a stardrop. You get an animation of your character coursing with otherworldly power. Your max energy is permanently increased.
    • Obtaining every stardrop, nearly doubling your initial energy value.
  • If you pay to have Pam's new house built, you can choose whether to keep your donation anonymous or not. Keeping it anonymous is a positive mark of What You Are in the Dark, and choosing to disclose yourself as the benefactor gives you the option to either say there's no need to pay you back, or tell Pam to patch up her troubled relationship with her daughter Penny.
