• Issue #75: Ben shows off just how advanced his Beyond suit when it tanks a hit from Ironclad, a villain who can trade blows with the Hulk, and sends him flying backwards. It also shields him from a combined by blast created by Vapor and X-Ray, and is equipped with lead-lined gloves to neutralize X-Ray's energy form.

• Issue #76: We see more of Ben's new technology deployed against the U-Foes. Vacuum bearings that suck up Vapor, lead chaff to neutralize X-Ray and gauntlets that deflect Vector's blasts.
  Vector: S-Spider-Man?
  Ben: Hell yes, Spider-Man.

• Issue #78: Despite being dizzy from Morbius sucking his blood, Ben is able to lure Morbius to the Beyond building where the security systems identify the vampire as a threat and slice off his arm.

• Issue #82: MJ saves Peter from a shapeshifting monster by exploiting its weakness to light.

• Issue #89:
  • A weakened Peter saves Felicia from the Queen Goblin without even using his suit.
  • Peter donning the Spider-Man costume to face the Queen Goblin.

• Issue #90: Peter powers through the Queen Goblin's "Goblin Gaze" to punch her out. The villain is so rattled by this that she retreats.

• Issue #92 (BEY.): While Misty Knight, Colleen Wing and Michael Morbius deal with Creature Z, Monica storms into Beyond's headquarters, releases Machine Man and together the two lay waste to Beyond's creations. Monica then reveals to Maxine Danger how she had the Daughters of the Dragon operating within Beyond as her agents for months and has been undermining her all this time without her knowing it. For the first time ever, we see Maxine's emotionless demeanor break as she spews a series of angry, impotent threats at Monica who simply shrugs her off and has Machine Man blow up the building.

• Issue #93: Ben uses the spinneret device to restrain Peter like he did in the first issue. Ben brags that the spinneret is designed to hold people three times stronger than Peter and doesn't dissolve unlike Peter's webbing. Peter then reveals that he figured out the unlock command for the spinneret after Ben used it on him the first time.
