The comic is Exactly What It Says on the Tin: a battle between Sonic and Goku. The world's fastest hedgehog and the Saiyan raised on Earth engage in a friendly, but intense fight that has tons of awesome moments.

Chapter 1: "The Saiyan Meets the Blue Blur"

• Goku and Sonic begin their fight with the latter speeding up behind the former, in which he (Goku) blocked a kick attempt and Sonic dodges a punch, sweeps Goku's feet, and dropkicks him.
• Impressed by the above and wanting Sonic to take the fight seriously, Goku uses Kaioken but Sonic dodges his attacks, particularly a kiai, and cancels the powerup by parrying his attack and does a Flying Kick from Sonic Lost World, which Goku blocks.
• Goku goes Kaioken x 20 and shoots a ki blast at Sonic, who jumps out of the way. Goku expected this as it leaves Sonic open to receiving attacks by him and finishes by smashing him to the ground.
• Goku prepares to fire a Kamehameha at Sonic but the latter speeds up and kicks his hands before he fires it. Sonic then waylays Goku with the Phantom Rush and double stomps him.
• Just as Sonic starts to take his leave, Goku gets up from the onslaught, shocking the blue hedgehog, who states that no human should get up from his attack that quickly, to which Goku responds that he's a Saiyan raised on Earth and ends the chapter by turning Super Saiyan.
  Goku: Time to make things interesting.

Chapter 2: "Taking It to the Next Level!"

• Super Saiyan Goku begins his attack by returning the favor to what Sonic did to him at the start of their fight by coming up from behind him and punching him, which Sonic manages to block while being sent flying towards a boulder.
• Sonic emerges from the smoke, his irises glowing blue and his speed increased, now aware of how powerful Goku is as Super Saiyan.
• As shown in the page image above, Sonic and Goku charge at each other and are about to Punch Parry. However, the former goaded the latter into it by retracting his right fist and using his left to nail him.
• As Goku thinks about tiring Sonic out, the latter moves fast enough that it's tough for him to sense him and he builds enough force in his speed to nail Goku from behind with a Wind-Up Punch, genuinely harming him for the first time since he turned Super Saiyan. Goku Didn't See That Coming at all.
• Goku and Sonic race to the woods where the latter effortlessly jumps out of the way of the former shooting ki blasts at him, including dodging a point-blank ki beam after Goku uses Instant Transmission to teleport at him.
• Sonic comes charging back at Goku even after the latter struck him with a kiai, forcing Goku to use Instant Transmission to retreat to the sky where he's about to secretly shoot Sonic with a ki blast, but Sonic senses him, to his surprise.
• Not worried about Goku flying in the air, Sonic accelerates his speed to jump high enough to reach him, charges at him using an air boost, dodges his attacks, and send him crashing back to the ground using Sonic Eagle. As a result of Sonic finding ways to get the drop on Goku, the latter laments that he's the one who'll get fatigued and drops the Victory by Endurance plan to beat the hedgehog.
• Sonic's extreme speed forces Goku to briefly use Ultra Instict, enabling Goku to dodge four hits from Sonic.
• Goku tries yet another kiai, only this time Sonic uses it against him by spinning rapidly to deliver a heavy kick to Goku's face, making him draw blood.
• Goku gives such an epic Death Glare to Sonic over the kick that the hedgehog takes a step back out of fright.
• Goku turns Super Saiyan 2 and, to take it up a notch to overcome Sonic's speed, combines it with Ultra Instinct. He takes the time to commend Sonic for pushing him to do so but warns him that the transformation and technique will be enough to handle him. Sure enough, Goku is proven correct when he dodges Sonic's attacks and dominates him. Not even Sonic surging his speed even further is enough for him to regain the advantage.
  Goku: [...] Ultra Instinct is like my own danger sense. My body just moved on its own to counter your speed. In the end, you've reached your limit.
• Upon being told the above, Sonic SNAPS and charges at Goku to punch him, only to get his fist caught and Goku nails him with a one-inch punch, knocking him towards a tree and boulder.
• Now aware that he's no match against Goku's Super Saiyan 2 form combined with Ultra Instinct and learning he has three more Super Saiyan forms, Sonic uses the Chaos Emeralds to turns into Super Sonic.
  • As Sonic transforms, Goku senses the enemies Sonic has faced using the state: Perfect Chaos, Dark Gaia, Egg Salamander, and Solaris, the last of which makes Goku anxiously sweat. Realizing how tremendously powerful Sonic is having faced those foes using his super form, Goku shoots a ki blast at him but Sonic completes his transformation, catches the ki blast, and crushes it.
    Sonic: Time to do things in my style!
• Sonic in general is awesome for most of the chapter as despite Goku turning Super Saiyan, Sonic forgoes turning Super himself by amplifying his speed to give the fight to him, delivering two serious hits to him, which forces the Saiyan to go Super Saiyan 2 and use Ultra Instinct to turn the tides completely in his favor. Goku even admitted that he could've used Ultra Instinct while remaining Super Saiyan but he went Super Saiyan 2 so that his senses can be doubled enough to keep up with Sonic's speed, refusing to underestimate the blue hedgehog again. Sonic is so formidable that Goku had to use Super Saiyan 2 and Ultra Instinct, both of which are reserved for the utmost strongest of opponents, to completely dominate him.

Chapter 3

• Now observing Super Sonic, Goku senses that Sonic is holding back using the form. Sonic confirms Goku's theory by stating how the form pushes his power beyond anything imaginable and choosing to go super since Goku has three other Super Saiyan forms. Preparing to resume the fight, Goku tells Sonic not to underestimate him, but Sonic pulls a Jiren by coming up behind him and telling him this while placing his hand on his shoulder:
  Sonic: Buddy, I think you're the one underestimating me.
• Sonic demonstrates his power by kicking Goku's forearm (leaving a bruise mark on it), being invulnerable to a punch to the gut, blocking his barrage of punches, and dishing out attacks on him before finishing it with a powerful kick that damages the back of Goku's gi, getting payback for the one-inch punch in the previous chapter.
• In response to the beatings he just received, Goku turns Super Saiyan 3, citing an iconic line he exclaimed to Fat Buu as he unveiled the transformation the first time:
  Goku: TIME TO TAKE THIS FURTHER BEYOND!!
  • Doubles as a Funny Moment, instead of being shocked like he was for Goku's previous forms, Sonic laughs at the appearance of Super Saiyan 3.
• After transforming, Goku lands three openings to Sonic after the hedgehog agreed to his suggestion on neither of them using danger sense or, in Goku's case, Ultra Instinct. However, refusing to let Goku be dominant again, Sonic increases his energy.
  Sonic: (after increasing his energy) Don't get ahead of yourself, Rapunzel!
• Upon taking their fight to East City, Goku finally fires a Kamehameha at Sonic but, due to being invulnerable in his Super state, the hedgehog takes it head on and emerges unscathed.
• Goku and Sonic decide to take their fight to the desert to avoid collateral damage in East City with the latter out-flying the former. As they arrive there, Sonic takes the time to enjoy the scenery and considers checking out other places in the Dragon Ball universe... while being aware of Goku attempting a sneak attack on him.
• After double stomping Goku to the ground once again, Sonic takes up to space and charges a Spin Dash at him à la Nazo Unleashed while Goku attempts another Kamehameha. However, Sonic uses Chaos Control to teleport at him immediately and hits him with an original move not seen in the games nor any other media of the Sonic franchise: Super Sonic Phoenix Comet.
  • To elaborate, the Super Sonic Phoenix Comet, also known as Gaia's Phoenix Spear, combines the Sonic Eagle meteor attack Sonic gave to Nazo in Nazo Unleashed with the aura of the Gaia Phoenix in Sonic Unleashed that Sonic fought as a Werehog while it was corrupted by Dark Gaia.
