The Game

  • The Bar Brawl in the Heartbeats Bar and the scene leading up to it.
  • Some thugs in town are bullying a boy and steal his soccer ball. Ryo shows up and beats them up. When the boy retrieves his ball, the boss thug takes him hostage while another punk tries to sneak up on Ryo with a club. The boy drops the ball, so Ryo kicks the ball right at the boss's face while immediately whirling around and backhanding the punk behind him so hard the guy goes spinning across the street.
  • When Charlie and some of his biker buddies attempt to ambush Ryo, two of them drive at him and he jumps out of the way. When the third one approaches, Ryo knocks him off the bike with a flying kick. He chases Charlie down, kicking the second biker off while they're still driving, before cornering Charlie and giving him a well deserved beatdown.
  • The famous 70 man battle at the climax of the game. Ryo and Gui Zhang vs the entire Mad Angels biker gang that had been terrorising Yokosuka. It starts with an epic one-on-one fight between the two heroes (Terry, the gang leader, had promised to take Ryo to Lan Di if he beat up Gui Zhang) before Terry intervenes and tries to murder Gui Zhang while he's down, only for Ryo to save him. The deal is off and every last Mad Angel is going down!
  • The Final Boss battle ends with Chai getting knocked into the water.
    • Gui Zhang saving Ryo from an enormous falling steel beam by kicking it away. He is heavily injured for the effort, but the strength it took to do that is quite impressive.
  • One single moment during the release date reveal trailer for Shenmue III: Ryo. Finds. Lan Di. At long last, the epic showdown fans have waited for almost 20 years to see will come to pass.
