Awesome / Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost

Go To

  • Scooby and Shaggy successfully tailing the mayor and evading detection. At one point they do a Fakeout Makeout when he gets suspicious.
  • This being when we’re first introduced to the Hex Girls, they have two moments of Awesome Music:
    • When the gang plus Ben first see The Hex Girls performing on stage and singing Hex Girl.
    • Later at the ending where they perform Earth, Wind, Fire and Air.
  • The Reveal that Ben was Evil All Along doubles as this and as Nightmare Fuel. He then takes the book, makes the huge announcement, calls out the Mayor and Thorn's dad for using Sarah's image horribly, and starts doing magic. Scary? Yes. Awesome? Hell yes.
  • When the Scooby Gang realizes that Ben was evil and used them to get Sarah's book of witchcraft, they immediately use their brains to steal the book from him for as long as they can. This results in their best display of teamwork and Character Development compared to Zombie Island, where they nearly got killed.
  • Mixing with Funny Moments, Shaggy and Scooby's way of defeating the Giant turkey. Especially since they are no longer afraid of it. Made even better with them dressed up in old thanksgiving clothes!
Shaggy: Like, got the stuffing, Scoob?
Scooby: (Brings bowl of stuffing out) Yeah!
Shaggy: (Brings out turkey baster) Time to baste this bird!
(Shaggy squishes the baster. The giant turkey screeches and runs off)
Shaggy: (chuckles) I guess he didn't have the right stuff, ol' buddy!
  • Though it fails, Shaggy plucking up his courage to douse Sarah with water, hoping it would melt her like in The Wizard of Oz. Especially considering this is Shaggy.
Shaggy: Let my buddy go, ya creepy crone!
  • The entire gang playing Keep Away with the book as Sarah's magic incapacitates them long enough for Thorn to get the book and read it.
  • Thorn becomes the hero in The Climax by revealing her inner Wiccan and banishing Sarah back into the book. At one point the book itself even protects her from one of Sarah's spells.
Thorn: (reading) Ancient evil get thee hence. Only good can recompense for the misdeeds that you have done. Witch return from whence you've come!
