• From Issue #4, we have Braga leaping into the fray as a horde of rogue orcs gathers outside Palisade, demanding the Rat Queens' heads for their leader. she kicks things off with one Hell of a Badass Boast, and things just escalate from there.
  Braga: Orcs only know one language. Blood. I'm the fucking alphabet. [...] Violet. War cry.
  Violet: RAT QUEENS! PUT THE SEXY BACK IN LARGE WHOLESALE SLAUGHTER!
  • At this point, Braga leaps off the outer wall of Palisade, Betty in tow on her back, and enters a full-fledged, head-splitting, frothing-at-the-mouth berserker rage. It's at this point that her opponents realize just who they are up against, and become understandably concerned.
  Braga (frothing at the mouth): GRAHHHPPHHHTT!
  Random Orc 1: It's her...
  Random Orc 2: The Bastard!
  Random Orc 1: We're fucked!
  Both their heads get bifurcated in one stroke.
  • Violet, not one to be undone, cuts a swath of destruction through the orc forces, only slowing down when they start getting overrun.
  • Just when it seems like the Queens (and Braga) are going to fall and Palisade is going to be razed to the ground by orcs, the last remaining merc guild in the city besides the Rat Queens shows up to lend them a hand.
  Human!Dave: Somebody call for the Four Daves?
  Gary (cowering atop the wall): Nope!
  Human!Dave: Shut the fuck up, Gary! (to the other Daves) Ready to die honorably, Daves?
  All: BY YOUR COMMAND, DAVE!
• From Issue #5, upon seeing Violet take an arrow to the throat, Hannah goes apeshit and enters a berserk mode, complete with Black Eyes of Crazy. She then drops her staff and starts dual-wielding wands to tear apart the remaining orc forces singlehandedly (while the others mop up the stragglers) and deals the final blow to their boss.
  Hannah: This ends badly for you.
• From Issue #9:
  • Braga using an invader as a club against another invader.
  • Betty: "THEY'VE. GOT. SAWYER!" Also counts as heartwarming.
  • Tizzie saving Hannah, then teaming up to bring a literal Rain of Death.
  • Gary apparently saw the attack and saved a few people's lives. Sawyer tells him well done, and nobody tells Gary to fuck off.
• Issue #16. Critical Role 's Vox Machina makes an appearance as revelers and bar brawlers. Dee even has the line: "Who the fuck brings a bear into a bar?! "
