Despite being Lighter and Softer and not as action-oriented as its main counterpart, RWBY Chibi can still deliver some awesome moments.

    In General

    Season 1

  • The very first episode has a sparring match between Yang and Weiss, which is played mostly straight. It also has Yang showing some improvisation skills, as she punches Weiss when she mocks her after running out of ammo.
  • Blake using her semblance to avoid Yang's punches when playing tag in Episode 3 was pretty cool.
  • In episode 13, Nora ropes Team RWBY into exercising with her. She demands to know if they think they can save the world without thunder thighs. Blake remarks that "thunder thighs" is normally a derogatory comment. Nora's answer is to widen her stance, raise her leg up, and stop down hard enough to shake the ground.
    Nora: You tell me!
  • Yang taking down a jar of pickles for her sister in Episode 18. It's Better Than It Sounds, because rather than simply trying to open it, she pummeled the jar and shot the lid off!. Even after getting her hand stuck, Yang was not going to let the jar win.
Yang: Oh, you just don't know when to quit, do you?
  • As Episode 19 illustrates, Zwei is Badass Adorable personified, as the episode has him scaring off a Grimm, defusing bombs and even fighting off Mercury, Emerald AND Cinder altogether!
    • From the same episode we get the pillow fight. Simply put, it was Mundane Made Awesome personified. More specifically, it was an almost-straight fight on the same vein as the food fight in Volume 2's premiere, with the girls using their powers like normal and the pillows as their weapons. And once again, Yang proved how resourceful she can be, as after failing to hit Blake again and again (like in Episode 3), she found a way to hit her: use Zwei as a pillow against her!

    Season 2

  • Episode 1 shows Penny as quite the formidable dodgeball player, using programming and robot skills to take down every single opponent easily. Yang then comes back by punching the ball at her, decapitating her!
  • In Episode 2, when all looked grim, Nora defeated the possessed pancakes by eating them.
  • Episode 3 featured a full-on showdown between the heroes and the villains, replete with Trash Talk between the teams and Zwei barking a Grimm into submission. Like other times, it was Bait-and-Switch leading to what was a soccer match that ended too soon because Mercury deflated the ball; but even then, the set-up was amazing and tense.
  • "The Huntsman" in Episode 5 might be THE moment of awesome for Jaune in the show. Sure, like always, it ends up somewhat bad for him, but for once he was able to shine and take down the bad guys like a true hero and save Velvet. And all of it while using Ruby, Yang and Nora's weapons, no less!
  • In Episode 11 we get Jaune saving Pyrrha from a Grimm in "Love More Than Likely" (her interpretation of the film at least). Considering what happened in RWBY's Season 3, it was pretty heroic to see him save Pyrrha with Zwei as his steed - even if he still fell on his face]
    • From that same episode we get "Try Hard 2: Try Harderer". Despite being as stereotypically macho, explosion-filled and action-packed as an action flick can get, it also looked pretty cool precisely because of it.
  • The finale of Season 2, "Battle of the Bands", is this in spades. The battle was an actual battle between warring bands, and all parts did a great job at fighting, even Neo and Mercury despite not being prepared. Also, Penny decided to emulate DJ Sona with a weaponised DJ table.

    Season 3
  • Jaune gets one in "Road Trip", the premiere, when he sings the Camp Camp theme tune to annoy Cinder into releasing him and Ren from captivity.
  • Roman manages to earn a victory in Episode 6 when he successfully gets away with a theft by tricking his Fanboy and all-around Jerkass Cardin into taking the fall for his crime.
  • When Winter barges in on Weiss and her friends' tea party in Episode 9 to reprimand her sister for neglecting her studies again, Grumpy!Klein swiftly and effortlessly puts the elder Schnee in her place. Also counts as a Heartwarming Moment, as he does it completely in Weiss's defense.
Klein: Now, watch your tongue, young lady! Your sister needs to socialize just as much as she needs to study! Don't forget I raised you, too!
(Winter silently and slowly backs away.)
  • Episode 15 gives us Penny proving she has enough firepower to take down a kaiju-sized monster offscreen, and Qrow punching out Cardin in retaliation for being hit with a stone while in his corvid form (after a squirrel and a bird suffered similar mistreatment).
