Orange Islands Arc
- The arrival of the sealed evolved forms of Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Pikachu
all preforming a Big Damn Heroes moment on Giratina. Keep in mind this was before Mega Evolutions was even announced!
Myotismon Arc
- Ash maybe an Idiot Hero, but when it comes to pokemon battles, he shows where he can be a Genius Ditz. Against Myotismon, a powerful ultimate that can take down a team of ultimates, Ash had Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charizard all attack at once. With Bulbasaur keeping the vampire down, Pikachu's thunderbolt splitting and Squirtle's water into oxygen and hydrogen leaving charizard's flames to be add in,the result was a massive explosion right in Myotismon's face!
- Ash, being the Fearless Fool he is, performed a Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu? moment against Myotismon! Sure the blow didn't do anything, but Ash end up stealing back Kari's crest!
