  • The campaign starts on a high note - as early as the middle of the first arc, the team organizes a raid to rescue a hostage from a hell dimension, and, since they're already there, rescue 3000 other imprisoned souls. The whole thing is treated like the liberation of a concentration camp.
    • During this, Mezlisa's former master, Wailing Gesture, successfully took control of Cerulean... Until Mezlisa used her own power on her teammate to directly counter the command, leaving the succubus queen wide open to being one-shotted by Strike.
    • Also from the first arc: During the fight with the godlike Entropy, realizing his power comes from being a Reality Warper, Miss Trial appeals to obscure alien law to declare his warping of reality illegal and blocks them with her own powers.
  • In the second arc, the heroes are facing with the Deneb Imperium, which is far too powerful to fight head-on, is pressuring their Silen allies, and engineered a situation where team member Cerulean is to be taken by them as prisoner. The Tomorrow Vigil proceeds to improvise like crazy and pull a con worthy of Leverage to not only make the Deneb Imperium back down, but also bluff them into believing that their own interdimensional ambitions are suicidally risky due to the existence of a bigger, stronger version of their empire in the multiverse that despises them.
  • The third arc is kickstarted by an almost-successful assassination attempt on Sumire, who by all accounts is a Physical God. What foils the assassination attempt? Cerulean throwing herself in the line of fire, and, even as she is almost killed herself, begging those present to save everyone else first.
  • The fourth arc is one long string of the Tomorrow Vigil steamrolling over the corrupt forces of Watson Earth while trolling the ones in charge, being an awesome, heroic Outside-Context Problem.
  • The fifth arc is one massive Moment of Awesome for the game master, successfully mixing a superhero campaign and an Ace Attorney Affectionate Parody.
    • Also in the fifth arc, the team successfully resolving the Murder Mystery, followed by disarming the Doomsday Device, winning the standoff with Incandescent, and finally quelling riots all over Primal Earth.
    • Finally, a shared one for Alicia Carroll and Doctor Menlo: The former wanted to sabotage the peace negotiations between the Rikti and Vanguard so that the Rikti armed forces would remain on Primal Earth instead of returning home and methodically crushing the subversive movement growing there. Doctor Menlo had instead been running herself ragged trying to find a way to harmlessly strand the Rikti army between dimensions. Once they got to talk to the actual Rikti, however, they were able to come up with a superior alternative - removing the Rikti army's priests, and stranding them just long enough for the majority of conscripted "Lost" to overthrow their leaders.
  • The gigantic Gambit Pileup battle of the sixth arc is full of these:
"Was THAT. The BEST. YOU HAD?"
  • Michelle Angelmark, when fighting against a team of the 8 deadliest metahumans available to Vanguard, demonstrates what an insane tactical badass she is, taking down seven of them before going down...
  • ...at which point she is saved by Lightning Strike having a Super-Speed duel with the last one, Glyphica. To put this in perspective, Glyphica is a Power Parasite so dangerous, that Vanguard usually keeps her locked up in their "break in case of apocalypse" vault, has basically turned into a dragon, and has stolen a big enough chunk of Strike's speed to nullify her biggest advantage. Strike still win.
  • SHOCKER has made the battlefield extra complicated by showing up with a small army, including a squadron of landing crafts and air fighters accompanying a mothership, and two kaijins. Their entire force gets taken down by the good guys. First, Doctor Menlo magnetically launches dozens of heavy metallic objects in the air, which Miss Trial proceeds to aim like a Macross Missile Massacre at the smaller ships, taking them out in mere seconds...
  • ...after which Mezlisa enters the mothership, proceeding to quickly and efficiently brainwash the crew into following her commands...
  • ...and then Melisende uses her own aircraft to launch one of the kaijins into the other, taking both out.
  • The battle effectively concludes when Shade demonstrates her Goddess of Assassination credentials by landing a devastating Limit Break attack on Doctor Combat that takes him out of the fight... and when the dust clears, of all the combatants involved in the whole mess, she's the only one without a scratch.
  • As a whole, it's a Moment of Awesome for the Tomorrow Vigil, Pinnacle Academy and their allies - despite so many complications and so many things going wrong, they have managed to take down one of the biggest international threat to Pinnacle Earth, win a major victory against SHOCKER, and recover the extremely valuable data of Doctor Combat's Super-Empowering treatment, while completely preventing civilian casualties.
  • Arc 7 includes a long sequence of the Tomorrow Vigil and Team One being Back-to-Back Badasses, holding the line against a massive army of Lunarians.
    • The arc's climax revolves around surprise villain Radias almost successfully stealing another sun deity's power and using it to establish himself as the sole god of Shattered Aegis... only for Shade, powered by the prayers of the entire world, to fight and defeat him in his own temple, while it's falling from orbit. Thus saving her native world and definitely establishing her divine credentials.
  • Arc 9 has Alicia Carroll establish yet again her awesome status: While being interrogated by a Higher-Tech Species, she has so many contingencies and layers of obfuscation that, even after scanning her entire brain, they're still unable to differentiate her lies from the facts.
    • The climax involves the Vigil preventing the creation of an entire pantheon by waging a battle of old pirate ships above a sun.
    • Then Fleur Lianis, in the epilogue, manipulates the fallout to 1)Save the Silens from an invasion by their former masters, eager to reclaim their slaves, 2)Dismantle much of the Deneb Imperium, and 3)Turn the Silens (easily the most sympathetic geopolitical faction of this dimension) into a powerhouse. And she did it all in nine hours.
