"At long last, the revolution has come! What I now hold is our banner of victory!"
  • Every moment when Erina plants her spear-flag onto the flag-post to free the brainwashed Phantom Thieves from Marie's control.
    • When Erina gets sniped while trying free Yusuke and Makoto, Toshiro, cowardly as he is, takes her place, and finishes the job by planting the flag himself.
  • After Toshiro frees Yusuke and Makoto, Marie subsequently approaches the Phantom Thieves. Because the Thieves were already worn out from their recent battle and Erina is unconscious after being shot, she is planning to kill or torment the party. However, the Rebel Corps suddenly appear to Hold the Line, allowing the party enough time to escape to the hideout.
  • Marie has the PTs on the ropes despite everything they throw at her. The one who is critical to their victory? Toshiro, who braves a perilous climb to the top of the church, has the Thieves get Marie into position underneath the bell, and then sends it crashing down on top of her, proudly cutting ties with her and freeing himself from her puppetry.
Toshiro: Marie-san— No... Marie! You may have been right... I was just your pathetic puppet... But... Even puppets have a backbone!
  • Why did Toshiro want to rebel? He was inspired by the Thieves' Calling Card for Shido.
    • The DLC stinger reveals Toshiro, still under his father's thumb, was fascinated by the report on Guernica's latest artwork to the point it reignited his fighting spirit. The Phantom Thieves may have fueled the flames of his inner revolution, but Guernica was the one who lit the spark.
  • Everything about the climax of the Third Kingdom:
    • To put it simply, things are not looking good. The Phantom Thieves are currently tied down, Erina is about to fall her to death, and it seems like Toshiro has lost his will from his Shadow's taunting. Suddenly, Erina shouts at Toshiro to remember his last conversation with Eri. Remembering how she told him to keep the spirit of revolution alive within him, he snaps out of it and uses Joker's knife to stab his Shadow through the hand before catching Erina. He then pulls her back up, redeeming himself for the train incident that crippled Eri.
    • After he saves her, Toshiro tells his Shadow to shut up, and Erina's eyes flash, remembering who she really is. Toshiro starts clutching his head... and a mask appears on his face. With a ferocious scream as Toshiro rips off his mask, Erina is reborn in blue flames as his Persona, Ernesto, subsequently freeing the Phantom Thieves.
Toshiro: You can't stop us. The rebellion is here. The rebellion... within my heart!
    • When Toshiro's Shadow decides to use Toshiro's "greatest failure" against him and transforms into a monstrous version of post-accident Eri, Toshiro quickly gets his nerves back and proceeds to exclaim just how fed up he is with the Tyrants trying to throw him back into apathy.
Toshiro: So, this is just how low you'll go!? Using her against me? Big mistake. And I'm going to make it YOUR LAST! You want your payback!? I'll make sure you GET IT!
  • The Coup de GrĂ¢ce Cutscene against Salmael is a sight to behold. Set to an instrumental version of "Revolution in Your Heart," the God of Stagnation sending waves of gears after the Thieves, with them shredding, blasting and slicing them apart. When Erina ends up getting crushed by gears, Toshiro's resolve re-energizes her, transforming her into Ernesto to fend off Salmael. It then culminates in Erina and Joker stabbing Salmael's disembodied head right through the face with her spear-flag.
  • From the ending:
    • Once Toshiro wakes up back in the real world, his father hands him a script for the press conference they'll be holding to explain his disappearance. Once he and Marie leave, Toshiro immediately tears the script apart.
Toshiro: This is where the next chapter begins... Right, Erina?
    • At the press conference, Toshiro proceeds to spill the beans on everything his father and Marie have been up to and breaks off his engagement, exposing them both and leading them both to get arrested. The looks of shock, rage and disbelief on their faces is damn cathartic.
