First Scenario Arc

• Episode 0 of the Web Toon:
  • Acting as an intro to the story, it showcases a Montage of some of the events of the novel up to the Cinema Master dungeon, giving readers a glimpse at some of the monsters and Bihyeong, before cutting to panels of Kim Dokja in his Iconic Outfit standing alone against hordes of monsters, and then cutting to a panel of Dokja and Gilyoung looking over Seoul as the scenario begins in earnest and the Constellations begin appearing, before ending on a clash between Kim Dokja and Yoo Junghyeok during the Cinema Master Dungeon. Finally, the episode stops on a panel of Kim Dokja's Company all together looking towards the stars.
    Dokja: "Back then I had no idea. On the day I finished the Web novel...the story I alone had been reading for the past ten years turned into reality, and I...became the only person who knew how the world was going to end."
• Chapter 1- Prologue- Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse- (Episode 1 of the Webtoon):
  • Kim Dokja's Determinator introduction of managing to be the sole reader of TWAS for ten years, growing up and surviving the unlucky events of his life by reading and rereading the novel over and over again even when he is berated online by other webnovel readers.
    Dokja: "Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World' was a feature-length fantasy novel with 3,149 chapters. Its shortened name was 'Ways of Survival'. I have been steadily reading this novel since the third year of middle school. Even when I was bullied by the delinquents at my school, even when I had to enter a third-rate, local university since I screwed up my entrance exams, even when I was assigned to a military unit at the frontlines since the damn military draft lottery went wrong, and even now, working as a contractor for a large subsidiary, still without a full-time job... From the end of my childhood all the way to adulthood—a long journey spanning over ten years. I felt a mixture of desolation that a world was coming to an end along with a sense of fulfillment from finally being able to reach the conclusion of that world."
• Chapter 4- Ep 1- Starting the Paid Service, III (Episode 3 of the Webtoon):
  • Kim Dokja managing to analyze the situation and deduce that TWSA's events were happening and calming Yoo Sangah down.
    Dokja: "I watched every scene intently. It was like Neo in the The Matrix, who suspected reality. Observing, questioning, and then eventually being convinced…I had to admit it. I didn't know the reason why, but there were no doubts about it. 'Ways of Survival' had become a reality."
  • Lee Hyunsung's intoduction counts, calming down the panicking subway passengers and taking charge by introducing himself as a army lieutenant. Not that it helps once the Dokkaebi starts getting impatient.
  • Lee Jihye's introduction is both this and Nightmare Fuel, surviving the massacre of her all-girls high school by killing her best friend.
• Chapter 5- Ep 1- Starting the Paid Service, IV (Episode 4 & 5 of the Webtoon):
  • Dokja receiving his exclusive attribute after discovering the author of TWSA had given him a TXT file of Ways of Survival, allowing him to reread the beginning of the novel at a much faster pace.
  • Yoo Junghyeok's indirect introduction through the text Dokja reads after acquiring his attribute, singlehandedly killing the entirety of his subway cabin.
    Yoo Junghyeok: 「 He saw people gathered at the back door of the 3707 carriage. The wheel of the lighter he held tightly in his hand was cold. In this life, he absolutely couldn't make a mistake. He would use any means for his purpose.
    The expression of fear on the people's faces…
    He didn't feel any guilt. Everything was fleeting. He looked at the people with merciless eyes. After a while, his fingertips moved, and fire rose. Then it all started. 」"
  • Kim Namwoon's introduction, immediately beginning to attack a grandmother and convincing others to follow him in beating her to death in order to survive the scenario.
    Kim Namwoon: "You still don't understand? The army isn't coming to rescue us, and somebody must die. We have to choose a person to die. Of couse, I know what you are thinking. You have to kill your fellow countrymen to live. It is something only sons of bitches will do. But you know, it is a situation beyond our control. Beyond our control. We will die if we don't kill, who will blame us? Are you going to die in the end because of your morals? Think carefully, the world you have known so far has just ended. A new world requires new laws."
  • Yoo Sangah and Kim Dokja's attempts to help the grandmother, with Yoo Sangah trying to interfere with the beating and Dokja rushing in after taking advantage of the train shaking to push Kim Namwoon of the grandmother and then taking a insect net from a boy mentioned previously.
  • Dokja's speech towards the other passengers, attempting to convince them to not kill the grandmother .
    Dokja: "Everybody, stop. You can't live if you kill the grandmother. Let's say you kill the grandmother, what next? The grandmother's death will be recognized for what the dokkaebi calls the 'first murder', and some time will be bought. Then what next? "If what the dokkaebi says is true, you each have to kill one thing. So, who will you kill after the grandmother? Will you kill the person next to you?"
  • Dokja's Loop Hole Abuse, using the specific wording of the 1st Scenario of killing living creatures rather than people in order to obtain the <First Kill> achievement by crushing a grasshopper before throwing the insect box to add to the panic of the passengers, obtaining an extra 100 coins in the process.
    Dokja: I stepped back slowly as I looked at the approaching people. Right now, I was facing the explosive madness that tried to kill the grandmother yet a smile emerged on my face. Why? Even in this breathtaking tension, why was my heart beating with joy?"
• Chapter 6- Ep 1- Starting the Paid Service, V (Episode 5 & 6 of the Webtoon)
  • Dokja revealing that he threw the insect box due to it only having 3 insects left compared to the 12 passengers remaining.
  • Dokja's personal skill <Character Profile> activating during his conversation with Kim Namwoon, allowing him to see the entirety of Namwoon's stats and skills in accordance to TWSA.
  • Dokja mentions that many of the Chuunibyou in TWSA would commit suicide at the sudden changes of the world, with Kim Namwoon as the most notable exception.
    Dokja: "Most of the chuunibyou that appeared in Ways of Survival committed suicide because they couldn't endure the nightmare that had become real. However, the chuunibyou before me, Kim Namwoon, was different. He was the Delusion Demon, Kim Namwoon. The young man, who later became known by this nickname, wasn't an ordinary chuuni. This young man had been waiting for the destruction of the world for a long time and adapted to this world at an 'unusual speed.'
  • Episode 6 of the Webtoon also shows us another glimpse at Yoo Joonghyuk, as he calmly walks through the burning wreckage of his subway.
• After being swallowed alive by the sea serpent, Dokja manages to survive inside iets stomach by buying some specific items to give him the advantage. So instead of being digested in its stomach, he stabs porcupine-like pins into the walls, with the thorns expanding due to the contact with the ichthyosaur's bodily fluids, and eventually killing it.
• Dokja slays the dragon, and thanks to his title of King of no Killing, he revives after being burned to death.
• In order to get through the King scenario, Dokja bribes the King of Beauty by paying nearly triple of what she initially offered for him to join her. She and her entire entourage are incredibly flabbergasted at how Dokja had this much money and more to spare.
• Dokja vs Joonghyuk - thanks to the magic of Dokja hoarding all his coins, he takes Joonghyuk out in one punch during the battle for the King's Throne.
  • As the last one standing, Kim Dojka basically has the title of King at the palm of his hand. Unbeknownst to the dokkaebi's and constellations, Dojka uses his power to destroy the throne instead. His new title reflecting it as, "King of a Kingless World".
• Dokja avenges the future alternate self of one of his companions, who was brainwashed by Paul the dokkaebi, by demanding a one-on-one battle with him and spending coins to repeatedly punch him in the face.
• Dokja meets his old school bully, who was the cause of a lot of his trauma in the past. Said bully has been transformed into a werewolf monster species and has grown very powerful. Despite the shaking he feels from the Fourth Wall, Dokja beats him to near death with his bare hands. The beatdown is so powerful all the other werewolves flee in fear.
