Hawthorne is just awesome during the Fright Trial, despite being scared out of his mind the whole time. First, he rescues Morrigan from a pack of zombies by swinging a torch around like crazy. Then, when facing off against his own personal greatest fear, he's made to believe a vicious dragon has bitten his legs off. What does he do then? Keep fighting, chasing after it by pulling himself up the ladder with only his arms, swearing he doesn't need legs to kill the thing. Thanks to the realistic simulation, he fully believes he has just been greviously, possibly fatally injured, but does he give up? No! He definitely earned his spot in the final trial.
The entire staff of the Hotel Deucalion all rallying together to make Onstald's life hell after Morrigan is unfairly banned from Wunsoc. Special mention to Fenestra, who only needs to sit in the same room and stare at him to get the point across. Even the sweet, non-confrontational Martha gets in on it by giving him cold, disgusting food, which from her is basically a declaration of war. The best part? It works. The ban is lifted within one week.
