Season 1

    Episode 1: Moon Girl Landing
  • The first episode establishes just how smart Lunella is by not only repairing things around the rink like it’s just a regular chore, but rebuilding a scientist’s portal generator from incomplete blueprints.
  • Moon Girl exposing Aftershock as the true culprit behind the blackouts by leading the angry mob to her. After the villain’s gloating and threats, it’s good to see Lunella get the upper hand.
  • Devil Dinosaur appearing at the last second to save Lunella from Aftershock, emerging from the gushing sprinklers.
  • Lunella’s family protecting her from Aftershock. They don’t even realize who she is, but they are willing to risk their lives to protect her.
  • Aftershock’s defeat. The community aiding Lunella in rigging the flag pole to drain Aftershock, Devil ducking at the last second so that the rigged pole can strike her, and the sheer celebration as they get their electricity back.

    Episode 3: Run the Rink
  • Lunella managing to trick Gravitas into expending his anti-gravity substance by skating circles around him as he keeps missing her, in a visually gorgeous sequence set to "Sweatpants".

     Episode 6: The Beyonder
  • Lunella and Eduardo manage to recreate their science fair invention in only an hour. It falls apart and they lose the competition, but the incredibly pace of their combined intelligence is nothing to scoff at.
  • The Beyonder spends the entire episode being Laughably Evil and seemingly harmless, even being dismissed by Lunella for the first half, only to shock Lunella and the audience when her invention falls apart by fulfilling his promise and annihilating all of humanity, wiping everything except Lunella and Devil from existence like he's conducting an orchestra, gradually converting the colors and erasing everything around him. While it turns out to be an act to fool the two, it's very clear that despite the theatrics, this is the reality-warping GOD we know as the Beyonder.

     Episode 8: Teacher's Pet
  • The Rat King managed to organize a power base of countless rats with nothing but a paper crown, and even has a gritty Villain Song in which he establishes his rule of the sewers through a rap with swarms of rats rising to his command.
  • Devil, Lunella, and Angel (who displays shocking combat skill for a tiny hamster) all working together to defeat the Rat King's minions.

Episode 11: Like Mother, Like Moon Girl
  • Trying to keep the Muzzlers from gentrifying her home proves to be difficult when the Muzzlers forcibly silence Lunella's Theme Music Power-Up with their technology— only for Lunella to rally the people of the LES in making their own music, allowing her to gain a Heroic Second Wind in a visually striking shot and ultimately take down the villainous pair.

     Episode 12: Today, I Am A Woman
  • Lunella manages to defeat Odessa Drake and stuff her in a broom closet, the end result being that Sam Wilson comes to capture her, complete with the theme from The Avengers!

Episode 13: Devil On Her Shoulder
  • Lunella casually calling Bill Foster to help with the episode's problem, who reacts to Moon Girl contacting him with shock and respect.
  • Lunella managing to give Casey the process of administering science via musical number. Casey also deserves credit for pulling it off.
  • The Behemoth Battle between Devil and Torg, culminating in Devil managing to convince him not to be evil. The dinosaur may not speak our language, but he's got a way with communicating!

     Episode 14: Coney Island, Baby!
  • Lunella powering through her fears to rescue Mimi from the Beyonder.
  • When the Beyonder shows his characteristic smugness and tries to assert that his recent bout of It Amused Me was him secretly being a Trickster Mentor, Lunella just decks him. It doesn't land due to his Reality Warper powers, but it's very satisfying to see after what he's put her through.

     Episode 15: OMG Issue # 1
  • This being the show's Wham Episode, it's safe to say the entire episode is awesome, between Lunella, Mimi, and even Morlak being at the top of their game.
  • Lunella manages to track the Enclave down using an old photo of the original Moon Girl, something even SHIELD couldn't do.
  • The Reveal that Mimi is the original Moon Girl, and that she's known Lunella's identity all along.
  • The fact Mimi and Morlak made a working interdimensional portal, seemingly from scratch and overworked. While everything that comes next is horrible misfortune, they had an utter triumph.
  • The fact that, upon seeing how dangerous the portal was, Mimi did the right thing and destroyed it against Morlak's will.
  • When the interdimensional portal opens, Morlak watches without a moment's panic as the monsters from it drag in his work-stealing superior and the military officer he wanted to sell the portal machine to, before picking up his superior's ring and taking over the Enclave with confident swagger. Start of Darkness it may be, it's an early hint as to exactly how threatening Morlak is.
  • The biggest action scene the episode is a fight in which Lunella and Mimi both take on the Enclave's foot soldiers as "Moon Girl Magic (70s Retro Version)" plays, each managing to fight off wave after wave of Enclave soldiers. Like grandmother, like Moon Girl.
  • Though Lunella thinks she's handled the situation, Morlak appears in the lab, decloaking suddenly with the implication that he's been there the entire time. He then explains how he managed to efficiently track down Moon Girl's true identity with intention to take the portal machine for himself.
  • Tough a choice as it is, Lunella and Devil agree to smash the portal machine to keep it from Morlak, even when knowing Devil won't get home. Both of them will sacrifice their opportunity to return Devil home, in order to do the right thing.
  • Morlak gets a huge moment when Lunella destroys the machine, stating that it's "time for Plan B" and ordering his troops to abduct Lunella. He was fully ready for this eventuality, and manages to capture both Lunella and Mimi with intent to get a new portal.
  • Lunella manages to escape the Enclave transport and even nearly makes it home before the lab explodes.

     Episode 16: OMG Issue # 2
  • The start of the episode reveals that Devil managed to get out of the lab, with Casey riding atop him.
  • Lunella tracks the Enclave down using simple analytics and figures out their base within under a day of Mimi's abduction.
  • Even without Lunella's Moon Girl gear, Casey has built her a stealth suit using sequins that can hide her from the eye, having saved it for an occasion just like this.
  • Casey and Devil charge in to create a distraction. In particular, though Casey hasn't been a typical Action Hero throughout much of the show she wastes no time in using a staff to wipe out a number of Enclave units thanks to training by watching internet videos.
  • Morlak reveals that he Took a Level in Badass since last time the portal opened. Knowing that Evil Is Not a Toy, Morlak has set up a device allowing him to control the monsters that come through the portal so he can send them at Lunella and Mimi.
  • In seconds of it happening, Lunella has analyzed the surroundings and figured out a "50%" plan to stop Morlak. Once again, the sheer ingenuity of Moon Girl is made clear.
  • Lunella, Mimi, Casey and Devil manage to send Morlak's monsters back through the portal in a fast-paced action sequence set to "Moon Girl Magic/Moon Girl Magic (70s Retro Version) Mashup." For the climactic action scene of the first season, it more than delivers. The combination of music represents the combined force of two Moon Girls fighting side by side as they put a stop to Morlak's scheme for good.
Lunella: You ready to jam, Moon Girl?
Mimi: You know it, Moon Girl!
    Both: MOON GIRL MAGIC!
  • After Morlak is sucked into the portal, Lunella instantly analyzes the situation and deduces, on the spot, a way to shut the portal down.
  • Though Lunella ends up pulled through the portal by the episode's end, Mimi shows herself to be a Determinator as she begins repairing the portal generator, declaring with utter conviction that she will get her granddaughter back.
  • The Stinger shows Lunella opening her eyes, proving her survival through the portal. Our hero may be lost and alone, but she's not going down easy.

Season 2

Episode 7: Make It, Don't Break It
  • Devil and the STEM crew get an Offscreen Moment of Awesome during the climax. Because Lunella is having a panic attack, Moon Girl is out of commission, leaving Devil to fight Jackson Wheel on his own, and he is having difficulty, until the STEM kids come to his aid. By the time Lunella got out of her funk, they won.
