• Nana kicking Alex's ass at the Grand Central Station, which doubles as a funny moment.
• Gloria effortlessly smashing through a brick wall in the group's zoo escape.
• The entire scene where Alex tries to get his and his friends rescued from the island. Unfortunately, his plan backfired when Melman accidentally burnt it down. It also doubles as a funny moment.
  • Marty deserves some bonus points as well. At first, he was seen stacking a pile of leaves, but really, he was making a leaf hut! He lets out a smirk to Alex.
  • Gloria manages to pose like Lady Liberty for a couple of hours when Alex was working on the statue.
  • Melman spent hours rubbing two wood planks to make fire and asked Alex why they couldn't just borrow some of Marty's fire, but Alex says it's wildfire. Melman starts to complain that he tried to make fire and when he slammed the planks onto the sand, fire appears!
• The final battle with the Foosa where Alex finally proves his worth.
  Alex: This is MY territory! Understand?! I never, ever want to see you on my turf again! (roars the foosa away)
• Alex's first real roar.
• "This is my kill!"
• Maurice manages to stop the feral Alex from catching Marty mid-lunge with a well-aimed coconut to the head. Even Julien was impressed!
  Julien: A bullseye! Excellent shot, Maurice!
  Maurice: Thank you!
