Season 1

  • Jo coming up with a plan to defeat the "demon dog" by luring it to a portal and manipulating Chuck into attacking it with his ray gun.
  • While Kid spends a majority of the battles flailing around and getting lucky, his confrontation with the Great Leader's army where he uses all five rings has its moments - like cleverly using the Green Ring to launch himself high in the air, then using the Blue Ring to grow giant on impact to destroy a giant robot. Seems like he's learning.
    • It turns out that using all the stones at once is a bad idea, because it wears the user out easily. But when he loses the rings, Kid still manages to keep going to try and get them back even when he keeps collapsing from exhaustion.
  • Papa G utterly refusing to back down when the Biker in Black is questioning him (and subsequently, threatening him). No trace of the laid-back, goofy old man we've seen so far, just a pissed off Papa G protecting his crew. What's even better is it turns out he didn't even KNOW the gang (sans Kid) was hiding in Kid's trailer at the time, he was just defying the Biker in Black on principle.
Papa G: I don't know where the kid is, but I thank the stars above he hasn't fallen into your grimy hands. I don't know where the team is, but I am pleased as punch to hear they've escaped. And whatever amazing plan they've cooked up, I hope it roasts your buns until they're nice and toasty.
  • Chuck grabbing a gun (not a laser or something cartoony-looking, a gun) and using it to shoot Emerald Wing's stone out of his suit so Kid can reclaim it.
  • Kid calling out the Biker in Black that being a superhero isn't about beating up people who are different than you, but rather about lending a hand to those that need your help. What makes it doubly awesome is when the Biker in Black points out the people in question are aliens, Kid emphasizes they're still people. He's come a long way from seeing aliens as "bad guys" to beat up and defeat.
  • Kid using the true power of the green stone to stop the Biker In Black, the Earth Force Enforcement Force, and the aliens from fighting any more and to take back the Stones of Power.
  • After the Time-Skip, Queen Xhan returns requesting help from the Local Heroes. Kid's response: to let their team leader, Jo, decide. It's real sign of maturity on Kid's part to willingly acknowledge Jo as the more capable leader of their team. And while Jo seems taken aback by Kid's deference, she just as quickly accepts Queen Xhan's plea for help.
  • Queen Xhan teleporting the entire diner into outer space, to better situate them someplace where they can collect the thirteen stones. And that's with what little strength she had to begin with.

Season 2

  • Looks like the gang won’t need to worry about money as Flo’s Oasis becomes a popular galactic pit stop.
  • Kid riding his bike through space to make deliveries.
  • Jo and the Gang manage to flawlessly pull off a fairly complicated heist in Season 2, stealing two Cosmic Stones of Power right under the nose of a vicious intergalactic mob boss during a crowded birthday party. The only reason things went wrong for them was because Jo insisted the team celebrate their victory by sticking around, otherwise it would have been a perfect mission.
  • Jo, determined to prove her capabilities as leader, joins the Fight Hole battle royale... and manages to win and make it to the finals, even when nearly the entire Mo's Oasis crew shows up to take her home, all equipped with power rings.
  • After Jo renounces her teammates and goes to take on Erodius alone with Krosh, Flo tears into Queen Xhan for turning Jo against them with her twisted views of leadership.
Xhan: Bravo, Jo! I knew there was a true leader in you.
Flo: YOU! This is all your fault!
Xhan: This is no time for anger, Flo.
Flo: With all the cutthroat nonsense you put in her head, I swear, if she doesn't come back...
Xhan: She will come back, because of my training.
Xhan: Guidance. Jo's victory, as well as the galaxy's, is all but assured.
  • When Erodius shows up to attack the Diner, Jo call out for many of Flo's customers to help her. Several of them, including Carlax and Boss Fiosa, assemble fleets on their own and attack Erodius, doing an amazing amount of damage.
  • The Local Heroes manage to get their stones back and join the attack. Then Jo notices that Erodius' crust is full of Power Stones of all kinds. Everyone picks up whatever combination of powers they want and go to town.
  • A villainous example when Fantos manages to take the Local Heroes down and depower them using only a single Telekinesis Stone. Shows how powerful that one stone really is on the right/wrong hands.
    • Fantos, gets another one later. When Krosh, who at this point has all the stones at her disposals, reveals her betrayal to Jo, he suddenly and quickly appears to vaporizes her with a giant laser gun.. He doesn’t even acknowledge it, choosing to gush over seeing Erodius in person instead.
  • The Local Heroes use the Goo Stone, which Kid had been considering useless throughout the season, as a key part of their plan to destroy Erodius for good, which works, tearing it apart from inside. Or the fake one at least Finally cue the episode's title: Kid Cosmic and THE WORLD IS SAVED.

Season 3

  • When even Kid is disenhearted by the lack of power to fight Erodius with, Rosa and three of the Tiny Aliens simply go get some more. As in, they go all the way to Erodius and snatch them right from under Fantos' nose.
  • Papa G making a huge sacrifice, giving up the 14th stone back to Erodius he unknowingly had for a century, without even thinking twice about it. Kid tries to stop him, but Papa G tells him he's lived a long life, and if this is what it took to make sure Kid has one too, he'll do it. He lives at the end as well, albeit confined to a wheelchair now and with less energy as well.
