• Empyre: Savage Avengers has Conan decimating the invading Cotati Army with a combine harvester. No superpowered science weapons or even magical ones, just a simple combine harvester used gather to wheat and corn.
• After revealing himself as the villain, Quoi has Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor tied up in a massive tree as he gloats on his plan. He offers them an "open hand" or death....then stops as he hears an odd whistling sound in the air.
  Thor: That, boy...is my open hand.
  Mjolnir lands into Thor's palm to unleash a blast of lightning.
• Issue 4 revealing that Teddy and Billy are married.
• Issue 5: Ben, bludgeoned and battered (and bleeding an alarming amount), standing up against his Cotati opponent anyway. Because he's The Thing.

  So I guess I can't die. I'm the Immortal Thing. Put up ya dukes.

• Issue 6 has Jennifer Walters regaining control of her body and ripping the Cotati parasite out of her own face.
• Mr. Fantastic using stretching Iron Man armor to face off with Quoi.
  • Reed reveals he's using sonic emitters to weaken the plant life.
  Quoi: I have conquered this planet, Richards! I have brought my heaven to your bestial Earth! What sound will take your world back?
  Reed: ..."Avengers Assemble."
• T'Challa verbally demolishing the Swordsman before utterly destroying him.

  T'Challa: I knew Jacques Duquense. He was human.
  Swordsman: What...?
  T'Challa: So human it killed him.
  Swordsman: Lower your sword, Panther.
  T'Challa: But when he died -
  Swordsman: I'LL SLAUGHTER THE CHILD WHERE HE - (Black Panther does not stop advancing) NO -
  T'Challa: - he died an Avenger! (runs Swordsman through) And everything you will never be!

• In the X-Men tie-in in #11, the Cotati attack Krakoa. In contrast to the hard time the invaders have given the defenders of the rest of the world, the mutants, led by Magneto, lay an absolutely epic Curb-Stomp Battle on them by creatively combining their powers. Magma draws twenty tons of molten iron from a volcano, which is then cooled and solidified by Iceman, and then used by Magneto to shred the Cotati. Magneto then faces the leader of the attack force and drops a satellite on him. The leader survives. So Magneto drops three more increasingly-large satellites on him. And then asks Sage to forward payment to the owners of the satellites.
• When the Profiteer tries to take the war orphans away, the Avengers and FF are ready to fight her. The Profiteer laughs there's nothing they can do as she has a legit contract with the Kree and Skrull empires and neither side will want to lose her services. Teddy settles it not with violence but simple logic: Literally breaking the contract in half, he points out to the horrified Profiteer that the Kree and Skrull empires no longer exist and as the Emperor of the Alliance, he is declaring all their past contracts void. Which means the Profiteer just lost her biggest clients as "we'll be taking our business elsewhere."
• Teddy's dispensation of Justice now that he's a true emperor and not just a figurehead for R'klll. His grandmother is locked in solitary confinement for her genocidal ways. He elevates Lauri-Ell to the rank of Accuser because she knows what it is like to be the accused. For his use of the Pyre, he reassigns Kl'rt to the diplomatic corps to wash the blood off his hands by making peace instead of war. And Captain Glory is imprisoned for his role in R'klll's coup, though he swears fealty to Teddy and promises to fight for him when released and called upon to fight. Teddy may rule through kindness, but he has definite Papa Wolf tendencies!
