Awesome / Blues Brothers 2000

• The movie held a Guinness World Record for 11 years for the most cars wrecked in production, more than half of which went down in the ginormous pileup of Lemming Cops. It has to be seen to be believed... all 100 seconds of it.
• The return of Paul Schafer. Since he was part of the original live band, but had to sit out the first movie because of commitments to Gilda Radner's Broadway show, when Murph lets him take a turn at the keyboards, it feels like a homecoming.
• The sheer number of performers they managed to bring together in the film is stunning. Name a blues or R&B legend who was still alive at the time of filming, and odds are they show up. It comes to a head in the finale, where The Louisiana Gator Boys win the Battle of the Bands, but both them and the Blues Brothers agree to do an encore together; this time, the audience wins.
