• Pretty much anything Ruby does. She travels around Remnant with Qrow teaching her to fight, wielding countless weapons that she stores in her body and wields with incredible skill. Her Grimm powers and Semblance make her even more dangerous, but here are some standout moments:
  • Fighting off hordes of bandits in Mistral.
  • Saving Cinder from the Glass Unicorn and convincing Qrow to adopt her. As a result, Cinder grows up very different from her canon counterpart.
  • Blowing up a Death Stalker and a Nevermore with one shot each from Crescent Rose, all accompanied by a fang-filled Slasher Smile.
  • Destroying the hardlight shields around the training area with a single shot from Crescent Rose, causing Cardin to surrender instantly. It's mentioned that those types of guns are used to kill Goliaths, and Glynda didn't even consider that Ruby could do anything near that type of damage.
  • After Jaune defeats Cardin, and the latter's team comes in being chased by several Grimm, Ruby effortlessly defeats said Grimm and chews the boys out for their behavior.
  • Regenerating from having her head blown off and going One-Winged Angel into her monstrous Grimm form, which tears off Adam Taurus' arm. After everything he's done both here and in canon, it's incredibly satisfying.
  • Killing two massive Beringels with nothing more than a dagger and her Semblance in all of twenty seconds.
  • She's so skilled at making and repairing weapons that Pyrrha thinks that she might be the best in the entire Kingdom. She becomes so famous on Beacon's campus for badass weapon upgrades that there's a line halfway down the hall by chapter 74.
  • Ruby has nearly reverse-engineered Atlas's proprietary Dust mix.
  • When Weiss is infected by a Nightmare, Ruby turns into a Sea Feilong, rampages around to clear out any nearby Grimm, and then turns into a Nightmare herself to force the other one out... all in the span of maybe five minutes (and unfortunately unseen by the reader).
  • She later defeats the whole of Team MRLO by herself.
  • By Chapter 75, Ruby has figured out how to channel her Grimm essence into weapons like Crescent Rose, transforming them and greatly increasing their power.
  • In Chapter 77, Ruby manages to give Penny's Floating Array a notable upgrade. In chapter 83, she goes even further on that front.
  • She's roped into helping the end-of-year combat trials, where the best fighters at Beacon, both students and teachers, see how much the other students have improved. Considering that most of the students helping test the others are in their third or fourth years, and that Ruby is still easily on their level, she's absolutely dominating the fights she's in, with her opponents having to get her to use Crescent Rose in scythe form to pass.
  • She ultimately loses her own combat trial against Qrow, due to his familiarity with her fighting style and her holding herself back for obvious reasons, but it was still apparently enough to get a pass.
  • While helping upgrade Floating Array again, she notices and removes a backdoor left over from the code Watts left in.
  • When she meets Ironwood for the first time, she chews him out for the way that he's treating Penny.
  • Her most powerful ability is having her Rosebuds using every weapon in her arsenal at the same time.
  • She turns into a Nevermore to carry everyone to the rally, having also figured out how to keep her Grimm essence from interfering with Petal Burst.
• Yang is pretty awesome too, having poured herself more into training when she was younger to better keep up with her younger sister.
  • When she faces a Boarbatusk in Port's class, the one Weiss canonically struggled against, she absolutely demolishes it, taking all of ten seconds to beat it and causing everyone but Ruby to go into Stunned Silence.
  • Her stand against Adam goes far better than canon, with her holding her own and landing several hits on him. It's even implied that she could have done better if she hadn't been enraged by him seemingly killing Ruby.
• Team RWBY as a whole is fairly accomplished, and have become rather famous among their year.
  • During a training excursion to the Emerald Forest, the Team as a whole tear into the Grimm so badly Glynda almost feels sorry for the soulless monsters. In the end they break a record and kill nearly a hundred and fifty Grimm in just a few hours, and while that was mainly Ruby and Yang with Blake and Weiss acting as support, they were still going strong when Glynda called them back, with respectable reserves of Aura left for Blake and Weiss, while the sisters still barely having used a quarter of theirs.
• It's partly because Ruby doesn't have much experience with iaijutsu specifically, and she's not using her Grimm abilities, but Professor Vega is so skilled that she's clearly winning the spar she's having with Ruby, who's using Blush and Wilt after stealing them from Adam. According to a watching Blake, she's faster and more skilled than Adam himself.
• The other RWBY members, Penny, and a few others successfully fighting against Ruby after Salem drives her berserk, and managing to calm her down.
• Penny and Ruby working together to take downs the Wyvern.
• Penny rebuilding Crescent Rose over the Time Skip and making it even bigger.
• Ozpin genuinely thinks that Ruby might be able to defeat Salem after she awakens from her stasis.
• The Vytal Tournament in this AU has Cinder and Ruby face each other in the finals, with Ruby narrowly scraping a victory during their epic fight.
• In this AU, Alyx survives in the Ever After as a warrior, slaying Jabberwalkers wherever she finds them.
• JNPR shows off the new skill levels they've gained after decades from their perspective in the Ever After, decimating the Grimm attacking Atlas.
• Cinder using Amber's Semblance in the fight against Salem.
• Ruby and Penny combining their powers, along with the Auras and Maiden powers of every one of their friends and family there, to finally take down Salem for good, leaving just a statue of her and Ozpin behind.
