Ryuga once again proving why he's called the "Dragon Emperor"!

Metal Fusion/Metal Fight

  • Gingka's Batman Gambit against Phoenix. He uses his special move to trick Phoenix into countering it. This was a trap to lure him into using his own move, leaving Fireblaze wide open for Pegasus' Storm Bringer attackĀ“, allowing Gingka to finish the match.
    • Phoenix is no slouch either. He utterly curb-stomps Gingka in their first bout, with both Gingka and Madoka having a magnificent Oh, Crap! moment as they see the sparks fly the moment Fireblaze touches down. Fireblaze then uses the friction to generate such intense flames that it ignites and superheats the bey, melting through all the nearby metal support beams it touches during its rampage as it delivers blow after explosive blow, the sheer intensity and volume of its signature bonfire aura invalidating anything done against it.
  • From the very first episode, Gingka defeating 100 Face Hunters all by himself!
  • Kenta's 2nd battle against Hikaru, which was his first win in the entire series.
  • Kyoya's trial in Wolf Canyon. This consisted of him having to climb to the top under his own power. There's also the fact that he actually SCARED OFF the wolves that live there!
  • The infiltration of Dark Nebula by Gingka and co.
    • Special mention goes to Kyoya's battle against Dan and Reiki. Kyoya is indoors so Leone can't use any wind moves. Kyoya then uses the friction caused by Leone's WB Performance Tip to create his own wind and take out both blades at once.
  • Gingka surviving his trial to learn how to defeat L-Drago. This included him walking through a blizzard and even getting caught in an avalanche.
  • Yu defeating Kenta, Hikaru and Benkei all at once with his patented quicksand trap, followed by him defeating both Kyoya and Gingka after that, cementing his position as a Child Prodigy.
  • Madoka using her bey for the first time to save Kyoya's bey.
  • Phoenix rescuing Tsubasa from the Dark Nebula.
  • Kenta and Sora's battle against Busujima. This especially goes a long way to show the beginning of Kenta's character development, especially for him to be taking over Gingka's role as the hero for this episode.
  • Gingka's rematch and victory against Yu during Battle Bladers. Even after Yu pulls out all the stops with his Libra's vast sonic arsenal, Gingka still managed to clutch a win.
  • Benkei vs. Kyoya. Truly Benkei's most awesome battle in the anime. And he gains Kyoya's respect even if he did lose.
  • Yu's battle against Reiji, which had Reiji constantly assaulting Yu with his scare tactics, but Yu never gave up and eventually created an opening to escape from the battle.
    • Kenta's battle against Reiji, as well, which eventually had Kenta combine his and Yu's beys together to battle him. The first Synchrom bey, anyone? He lost, but he still put up a very good fight and stuck it through to the end.
  • Gingka's battle against Reiji, especially with the speech he gave Reiji that caused Reiji's Villainous Breakdown.
  • Phoenix vs Doji. Burning Fire Strike drives Dark Wolf through the floor and carves it in half. In length. And that was after Phoenix got out of Wolf's Darkness Pit. And mind you, that was with the Burn Fusion Wheel, a circular Fusion Wheel with blunt, smooth edges.
  • Kyoya's battle aginst Ryuga, in which Kyoya really manages to hang in there and give Ryuga a run for his money.
  • Gingka's final battle against Ryuga.
    • As well as all of his friends coming out before dawn to cheer Gingka on.

Metal Masters

  • Yu is battling against Team Russia's Aleksei. Aleksei's Burn Wolf is floating using the stadium's special device that is also rendering Flame Libra's special moves useless. So what does Yu do? He wrecks the shit out of the stadium, causing the device to malfunction, causing Burn Wolf to lose control, forcing it to land, easily being one-shot by Libra's attack.
    • Gingka's defeat of Nowaguma, as well, which consisted of actually BREAKING THROUGH the ceiling of the cage he was trapped in so that he could use his special move.
      • And outside the bey stadium, we have Masamune using Ray Striker to tear up the computer that Lovushka's coach/manager was using to rig the battles.
  • Masamune defeating Gingka, especially after all the hard work he'd put in training to get strong enough to defeat him.
  • Masamune and Chaoxin's battle on top of the Great Wall was just amazing to watch!
  • Wales' intro. An angry man whom Wales beat in a tournament comes back to him at a restaurant, demanding a rematch. Wales is in the middle of a meal and doesn't want to be disturbed, but decides to give him three seconds of his time. He then proceeds to utterly crush him in exactly three seconds before returning to his meal.
  • Kyoya and Nile fighting to get back their spots on Team Wild Fang.
  • Gingka and Kyoya's battle: unlike most of the battles in this series, these two stayed evenly matched throughout the entire battle! No Curb-Stomp Battle here! It ended in a draw.
    • Also, the tag team battle with Gingka and Masamune up against Kyoya and Nile. It ends with everyone's beys except Masamune's going into a sleep-out.
  • Sophie, Wales, and Julian vs. Gingka, Masamune and Yu. The twin Cetus beys are proving to be pretty much impossible to budge, with Sophie having knocked Yu out via a maelstrom, only for Masamune to use his special move and plow through Sophie and Wales' ultimate move with sheer power, opening the way to Julian himself. It also serves as Julian Konzern's debut, where he proves that he's not one to be messed with by defeating Gingka and Masamune all on his own. With a One-Hit Kill no less.
  • Ryuga's official return to the series in The Dragon Emperor Descends, where he delivers a brutal Curb-Stomp Battle to Sophie and Wales, two blades that had already been established as having Nigh-Invulnerable defenses. The beatdown only ends when Destroyer stops L-Drago cold. We even see huge meteors crashing behind him in the background!
  • Yu talking to Tsubasa to try to get him to fight the dark power. That took a lot of guts on Yu's part!
  • Gingka defeating Ian by using his own Cyclone Stadium against him.
  • Dr. Ziggurat tells Ryuga that he's the one who sent Doji and Ryuga to retrieve L-Drago for use in his scientific research for the Arrangement, but that Doji had become obsessed with the Dark Power and lost himself to it. Essentially revealing that he has had Ryuga on strings since his awakening, Ryuga is unsurprisingly beyond livid at finding out that he's been nothing more than Ziggurat's pawn this whole time. Naturally, he breaks a chunk out of the central tower of Hades City and leaves. Ryuga would eventually come back to haunt Ziggurat later on.
  • Jack vs. Klaus shows that Star Breaker is not to be trifled with. Klaus opens with his special move immediately and pounds Befall with its incredible power. Then, Jack reveals that Befall hadn't even taken any damage whatsoever from the barrage before going on the offensive, using its chainsaw-esque design and vacuum cutters to literally carve Capricorn to shreds in a shocking display of brutality. To add insult to injury, by the time Befall finishes Capricorn, it has carved a picture of a rose into the arena and rendered Capricorn torn asunder while still standing, all while sending Klaus into a coma.
    • As ever, Klaus invokes awesome when he gets back up despite all the punishment Jack has inflicted on him and surpasses his limits after encouragement from his friends in Excalibur. Too bad this only served to give Jack the inspiration he needed to complete his art piece, subsequently rendering Klaus nothing more than a part of said art.
  • Damian vs. Julian, where the former demands a best-of-3 battle, angering Julian with his audacity. However, he soon proves that not only was he powerful enough to justify such a request, but he was actually toying with Julian the whole time.
    • In the first round, Julian demonstrates his new power, delivering a series of crushing attacks to Kerbecs, but Kerbecs is easily able to keep up until Julian uses the Eyes of Medusa. Then Damian one-ups it by No Selling the petrification and simply powering through it, only for Julian to use his new special, Gravity Brave, to fire condensed gravity arrows that crush the very stadium. And Kerbecs still one-ups it by proving that it can not only dodge the arrows, but it can intentionally tank them with no damage whatsoever. Damian them proceeds to use his Hades Drive to deliver a One-Hit Kill on Destroyer.
    • In the second round, Destroyer switches to left-rotation, which increases its power level to an insane degree and also allows it to fire a Rain of Arrows before using Black Excalibur, only for Damian to reveal that he switched Kerbecs to Boost Mode, which allowed him to No-Sell Julian's most powerful attack. Kerbecs then proceeds to deliver a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown while Damian gives Julian a Breaking Speech. Then, Sophie and Wales jump in to defend his honor, and even then they were unable to defeat Kerbecs, who promptly delivers a One-Hit Kill to all three of them at once before forcing Julian to admit his weakness in front of the world, starting his Villainous Breakdown.
    • Props goes to Julian too. Even though he suffered one of the most crushing defeats in the series, his power level has increased exponentially since the last time he was seen. It isn't too far-fetched to say that if he had rematched Gingka, he might have actually won.
  • Masamune's battle against Zeo. It looks like Zeo's got Masamune on the ropes with his magnetic control, but Masamune finds a weak spot in the magnetic field and delivers a brutal attack to Byxis, only for Zeo to fully activate his Arrangement, unleashing Magnetic Needle Storm to annihilate Striker and Masamune. Also doubles as a Tear Jerker.
  • Ryuga's battle against Jack. Especially winning the battle by knocking Jack's bey into the eye of the peacock Jack himself had carved into the stadium.
    • To emphasize it: for most of the fight, Ryuga just tanked Jack's attacks and let L-Drago's spin get dangerously low. Right when Jack thought he had won, L-Drago released all the power it had stolen at once and defeated Befall in a single attack. And just to give more proof that Ryuga is not someone to be messed with, he uses L-Drago to shatter the window that Ziggurat was behind, actually cutting him with the broken glass. Even though Ziggurat is ultimately unconcerned since Ryuga inadvertently played into his hands, he's still impressed by his victory over Jack.
  • Gingka's battle against Damian. The majority of which took place in Hell.
    • Even better, their last attack actually destroys the entire stadium. Specifically, via the implosion of Hades Gate.
  • All the battles that go on after Dr. Ziggurat literally crashes Gangan Galaxy's victory party. We have Gangan Galaxy, Wang Hu Zhong, and, later, Wild Fang up against Team Garcia, Team Starbreaker, and Julian Konzern, all the battles taking place right in the middle of the city. The best part? Its all in New York City!!
  • Tsubasa and Yu arriving just in time to help Gingka get into the now floating Hades City.
  • Dashan and Julian's battle, where Dashan finds a way around Gravity Destroyer's immobilization powers and beats him, all while snapping Julian out of his Heroic BSoD.
  • Yu destroying Jack's Arrangement machine with his bey. It also makes for a CMOF at the end of the episode.
    • Meanwhile, we have Tsubasa vs. Jack, EAGLE VS PEACOCK. Imangine how this battle would have went in the World Championship.
  • Kyoya's battle against Damian, including Damian's defeat and subsequent Villainous Breakdown.
  • Gingka and Masamune's battle against Faust/Toby. At first, Twisted Tempo is tanking all their attacks like they're nothing, and drags them into Spiral Dimension and then a seemingly hyper-massive black hole, freezing them outside of time for eternity... or they would have been if Ryuga hadn't come in. Recall to back when Ziggurat revealed to Ryuga that he was Doji's puppetmaster. Ryuga realised that he was unknowingly being used all this time, and to say he wasn't happy is an understatement. Indeed, he did come back to haunt Ziggurat by having L-Drago barrel through Hades City, not only damaging the Spiral Core but also disrupting Twisted Tempo enough for Gingka and Masamune to break out of Tempo's timeless universe and defeat Faust before he could get back to full strength.
    • Faust himself looks pretty awesome looming over an entire galaxy in his universe. His astral projection is large enough to make said galaxy look like some kind of cosmic table and he can hold the hyper-massive black hole in his hands.
  • Props goes to Zeo's Curb-Stomp Battle against Ziggurat. After seeing the guy act like a Smug Snake for the entirety of his arc, it's extremely cathartic to see him demolished in battle so easily, especially by Star Breaker's supposedly weakest member.
  • Masamune and Zeo working together to get Toby back. Also doubles as a CMOH.
    • Bonus points for the actual battle. As usual, Tempo is deflecting all of Striker's attacks, but Masamune doesn't give up, continuing to attack over and over again until he actually forces Tempo from the centre, an act which is depicted via sound as the equivalent of cracking it, finally breaking it's supposedly invincible defence. Striker then proceeds to actually knock Tempo back until Faust decides he's had enough, has Tempo send Striker reeling without even touching it, and uses Spiral Dimension.
  • Gingka and Ryuga working together to stop the Spiral Core before a meltdown occurred.
  • Yu's battle against Tsubasa when he managed to create a rainbow-colored version of his Inferno Blast to throw off Tsubasa's strategy. He still lost, but he did put in a great effort.
  • Yu's street battle against the Garcias. It was three-on-one and Yu still managed to hold his own against them and would have won if Argo hadn't snuck up and blindsided him.

Metal Fury

  • Seeing both Galaxy Pegasus and Rock Leone evolve into Cosmic Pegasus and Fang Leone is truly amazing!
  • Everything Kenta does in this season can qualify, and it's not joking. Especially when you know that he has been Demoted to Extra in Masters and does many of these right in the next season.
    • Him rescuing Sala from the fire is just him getting started.
    • His determination to convince Ryuga to join them searching the Legendary Bladers is just sheer awesome.
    • His battle with Tsubasa in the Babel Tower definitely qualify. Mind you, Tsubasa almost lost the battle. Dang.
    • He has another one in his battle against Gingka in Episode 126. He lost, but it was a pretty dang good fight.
    • Then, let's not forget his battle with Ryuga in Episode 134. His new special move Diving Claw managed to put a crack on L-Drago's face bolt. You must have known how strong this boy has gotten since the previous seasons, as what we saw is someone who is initially an inexperienced blader inflicting damage on one of the most powerful beyblades ever.
    • He pulls another awesome moment in Episode 148. Even when Rago and Nemesis get him beaten up badly again and again with each hit, Kenta still stands up and doesn't show any signs of giving up, even when Gingka and the others are lying down on the ground and losing all hope. Goddamnit Kenta.
    • He has another one in the same episode. When Ryuga dies after passing his powers to Kenta, Kenta lets his Battle Aura burst, and right then Flame Sagittario evolves to Flash Sagittario. He then charges at Rago with full power. Episode 148 is basically one giant heap of Kenta's awesome moments.
      • Ryuga himself gets his own awesome moment in this scene when he passes down his Star Fragment power to Kenta.
    • His battle with Pluto is one of his biggest awesome moments in the whole season. Kenta uses his perfected Diving Claw special move and slams Fusion Hades to the freaking ceiling of the temple!
  • Everything about the Destroyer Dome.
    • The Garcia's hatch an elaborate ploy...which is promptly foiled by a tag team between Zeo, Toby, and Tsubasa.
    • Tobio has Tsubasa on the ropes with his fast, unpredictable strikes. Tsubasa then proceeds to find a pattern in them and knocks out Capricorn with a single attack.
    • In the second round, Jack curb-stomps the weaker bladers, then goes for Jigsaw, only for his Bey to phase through Eonis. Jigsaw then proceeds to One-Hit Kill him, leaving him and the audience in shock.
    • Jigsaw using his invisibility to manipulate everyone. Then Madoka and Alexsei figuring out how to cancel it out.
    • Jigsaw then proceeds to use his special move, Burst Satellite, and utterly annihilates everyone in the arena save Masamune and King.
  • Destroyer Dome Finals were particularly good.
    • Tsubasa's Eagle using Stream Slash to cancel Eonis' invisibility again.
    • Jigsaw uses Burst Satellite again to instantly eliminate Toby and Zeo from the fight.
    • King's I Am Not Left-Handed moment where he reveals to Jigsaw his Bey can rotate both ways. He then proceeds to utterly trounce Jigsaw using Variares' special move.
    • Every battle between King and Masamune counts. Especially the last one where they cause the Destroyer dome to break and roll away. And they STILL keep battling!
  • Sala's debut, being in a village that doesn't allow Beyblade, but she still practices anyway is pretty dang cool.
  • Masamune vs. Chris. Masamune is at first dumbfounded by Phantom Orion's Bearing Drive that makes it take Scratch Damage from everything, but eventually finds a way around that by knocking it into the air where it's zero-friction mechanic is useless before hitting it with Lightning Sword Flash. Then Chris tops it off by activating his Legend Blader aura to change Orion to Attack Mode before using his special, Bernard's Loop, to One-Hit Kill Striker, which not only secures him a win, but blows up the entire mountaintop.
  • When Yuki's Mercury Anubius evolves during his battle with Ryuga.
  • Aguma's first battles, in which he defeated both Kyoya AND Gingka.
    • Better yet, Kyoya vs Aguma, round 2.
  • Gingka's entire group making it through the labyrinth.
  • Tithi, in general. He may be shy, but he's a very powerful blader and is also the Legendary Blader of Venus. He managed to damage Libra with a Goomba Stomp attack, which is a No-Sell for Libra.
    • Later, Tithi managed to deliver a brutal smackdown on Aguma of all people, easily destroying him and his Kronos.
  • Yu standing up to Kyoya when Kyoya began to try to bully Tithi into battling him.
  • Diablo Nemesis shows off exactly how powerful it is by easily destroying all the Legendary Bladers before levelling the entire temple with it's special move.
  • Yu, Masamune, and Kenta sneaking aboard the helicopter that was taking Gingka and co. to where they would fight Nemesis.
  • Ryuga's determination to win against Rago, and the battle overall. Even when he is beaten up badly again and again, Ryuga kept on standing up and doesn't give up. And this is the man who shows no such characteristics in the previous seasons.
  • The final battle to defeat Nemesis for good. Special mention to Gingka calling upon all the Beyblades in the world to shatter Diablo Nemesis and destroy the dark god once and for all.
