- In "Grave Happenings", the gang forming a circle of power to boost Miranda's fire spell, which Dymphna combines with her fire augmentation spell to deliver a devastating blow.
- In "Hunters and Gatherers", the gang faces off against an invisible beast, working as a team to lure it into a trap in a relay chase.Orphan: Okay, whatever you are! Let's see if you can keep up with a cat!
- Dymphna tricking the demon in "What the Cat Dragged In".
- Ace tapping into his werewolf side to save Jack in "The Presence of Others" is unnerving as it is awesome.
- In the third part of “Wise Dogs and Eldritch Men,” Miranda is left to face down a group of giant monstrous hogs alone after the Wise Dogs are captured by the human witch-cult. As the final one charges her when she’s almost spent, she digs deep and manages to cast her first unspoken fire spell, the hog erupting in flame. The closing panel of her eyes blazing while she's surrounded by burning pig-corpses is nothing short of cheer-worthy.
