When it's a middle of a Zombie Apocalypse and you're just a feeble man with a gun or two, you're bound to try to survive with any given chance you're given.

- Each time you fight a horde of zombies (or... Freds), you basically transform into a One-Man Army and have no choice (other than running away) but to fight them with bullet after bullet. Hell, you are even given a GRENADE LAUNCHER at a train tunnel!
- This bit makes this tunnel fight even better:Protagonist: [shouting] HEY FREDDIES! YEAH, YOU! YOU SMELLY BASTARDS!! You wanna take a fight?? COME ON THEN!!!
- This bit makes this tunnel fight even better:
- The soundtrack, which is a mix of typical Western sounding instruments and cinematic effect, which adds to the tension and adrenaline of exploring abandoned places and fighting off hordes.
- The unnamed protagonist is FULL of these, as he manages to go through rotted HELL, killing Fred after Fred, just to get rescued. There's even an achievement on how many Freds you actually kill and let's say the number is through the fucking ROOF! Talk about a fearless fighter!
- What's better? He was all alone during the entire journey and he STILL managed to survive through EVERYTHING. (Unless you play with co-op, that is.)
- The train fight scene: You fight off a horde on top of a train.Protagonist: [shooting off zombies] YOU didn't pay for a ticket! YOU didn't pay for a ticket! YOU DIDN'T PAY! NO! We have zero tolerance for fare evaders!
- The ending in it's entirety: The MC manages to get into contact with someone during his Despair Event Horizon when he finds out that everyone at the radio station is dead; and after fighting the LARGEST HORDE in the entire game, you get pulled up into a helicopter, finally rescued. The soundtrack makes it even better.
- The voice acting. Sky Soleil did a FANTASTIC job with the character, fitting his quippy, calm, and sarcastic nature in a post-apocalyptic world.
- In the refinery, after the protagonist finds out that the entire building was overrun by zombies, he finds a MINIGUN and in his Rage Breaking Point, he kills off loads upon loads of zombies.Protagonist: [while killing off a horde] DAMN YOU ALL!!!
