The clash between Arawn and Morrigan, goddess of War
Arawn is victorious from the fight with Morrigan. After regaining his strength, he walks away from the remains of the goddess he destroyed.
- The goddess Morrigan: a mighty deity of War whose interventions in the story are among the most epic moments of the comic book. She appears as a mighty, completely nude female demone-like creature, both incredibly beautiful and terryifing.
- In particular, the fight between Morrigan and Arawn possesed by the Cauldron: Siamh summons the goddess of War in order to fight his possessed son. The clash between the two beings are spectacular, with the goddess appearing beautiful and terrific while fighting the demonic Arawn. Her powers reach a scale superior to anything seen in the previous parts of the story, and she is able to easily defeat Arawn reducing his body to a bloody pulp.
- The scales of the powers showed by Morrigan makes the subsequent achievement reached by Arawn astronishing and shocking: as the goddess was going to give Arawn the finishing blow, the demon attacks Morrigan with a surprise attacks and immobilizes her. He then starts absorbing her soul, slowly regaining his body and his powers, while the goddess dissolves into nothingness, until only a bunch of lifeless bones remain. Morrigan, mighty Goddess of War, is no more, completely destroyed by Arawn. A mortal managing to face and vanquish a Goddess of War, absorbing her divine powers and ascending to godhood could definitely be considered epic.
