• At two points in the endgame, Ashley manages to play the ultimate Big Bad of the duology, Sofia, like a fiddle. First, she manages to lock Sofia in a room using the security office. When Ryan bypasses the lock to foil Ashley's effort, Sofia manages to corner Ashley and Richard. Working in perfect sync with her dad, Ashley tricks Sofia by giving her her band's demo rather than the ANOTHER Prototype disc, which distracts Sofia for just long enough that Richard is able to tackle her. She may not be an Action Girl, but Ashley is nonetheless a potent Action Survivor when the chips are down. Even better, the player gets to see Ashley angle the demo disc so that her father can see it before she throws it to Sofia, meaning Richard trusted her to take charge of the situation. The two, despite their differences, benefit from having massive respect and love for each other.
