On April 4th 2019, AAA held a press conference in New York City more specifically Madison Square Garden in which, they announced that they would be holding a show in the World's Most Famous Arena for the first time*. In the process, this makes them the 3rd non-WWE company (after ROH/NJPW) to hold a show in the arena. *Although AAA once held a show at the adjacent theater in 1994.
