Code Prime

This story cuts out a lot from both Transformers: Prime and Code Geass.

Story-Wide

  • The novels of the Aligned continuity are mostly left out. Backstory from the war is based exclusively on the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron games instead of Transformers: Exodus and due to the Ark and the Nemesis being warped directly to Earth at the end of Fall of Cybertron, this leaves out the events of Transformers: Exiles and Transformers: Retribution. The only exception is the novel-exclusive character Ravage.
    • In the case of the Prime before Optimus, Megatron first refers to him as "Zeta Prime" like in the games. When Optimus recalls pre-war Cybertron, he uses the full name of "Sentinel Zeta Prime" that was used to reconcile how he was called "Sentinel Prime" in other media.
    • R2 has a few more novel characters by bringing in Elita-One, Lugnut and the Constructicons. Superion is also given a mention.
  • MECH is excised from the story, as Britannia already fulfills their role well enough.
  • Rescue Force Sigma-17 doesn't appear due to the darker tones of the story and the setting lacking the equivalent of Griffon Rock.
  • The human allies of the Autobots, both from the Prime cartoon and Rescue Bots, are left out as they obviously weren't born in the Code Geass world. Additionally, timeline-wise, the show takes place roughly half a century in the past relative to Prime's timeline, even if it’s not obvious due to the Alternative Calendar, so even if they do exist in this universe, they haven't been born yet.
  • Due to having fewer incentives to leave and something to make himself feel valued during the wars, the storyline of Starscream the Rogue is cut entirely from the story.

Code Prime - R1: Rebellion

  • The Terrorcons and the sub-plot of Megatron being comatose for part of Season 1 are removed due to Megatron already being in possession of Dark Energon well before the start of the story. This also removes the plot point of Starscream raising Skyquake as a Terrorcon, and any possible clash with Dreadwing over it. The Terrorcons finally appear in Chapter 25.
    • The Black Knights' submarine is removed entirely, as the Ark (which is underwater) serves as the base for both the Black Knights and Autobots. It's also likely that the Ark will replace the Ikaruga in R2, but that's still up in the air.
  • The infamous Table-kun scene is excised because the author thought it was too creepy.
  • Due to Starscream never having the opportunity to engage in some of his most duplicitous moments in R1, the events of Rock Bottom are totally excised from the story.
  • Sick Mind is cut because Megatron is never rendered comatose.
  • Shadowzone is also excised because Skyquake is long dead by this point in the story. Milly, Rivalz, and Shirley do end up in the Shadowzone during the Time Skip to R2, but it’s more of a Noodle Incident, much to Milly’s embarrassment.
  • Speed Metal was removed because Arcee's partner in this story, Kallen, has no reason to get into a street race. Though they do have a joke about it in Nunnally Held Hostage that Gino is interested in racing Bumblebee.
  • Word of God is that the Black Knights' betrayal of Lelouch is not going to happen.
  • V.V. kidnapping Nunnally won't happen, as Lelouch made plans to take her to the Ark, Optimus destroyed the Thought Elevator on Kamine Island that allowed V.V. to kidnap Nunnally, and V.V. is currently Megatron's prisoner. Come Chapter 32, Lelouch finally moves Nunnally to the Ark, keeping her safe from the enemy.
    • As such, it's unlikely that Nunnally will become the viceroy of Area 11 in R2.

Code Prime - R2: Revolution

Even before R2: Revolution started, it was clear that much from the canonical R2 will not be happening due to events that happened in R1.
  • Rolo being Lelouch's "brother" is out due to Nunnally never being kidnapped and Lelouch never getting his memories rewritten.
  • Shirley's death and the Black Knights' betrayal of Lelouch are gone, as the author made it clear in R1 that neither of those will happen.
  • Charles being killed in R1 means not only are Lelouch's memories not rewritten, but the memories of the Student Council as well.
  • The destruction of Britannia, coupled with Suzaku's Heel–Face Turn and Nunnally not being kidnapped also eliminates the plots of Suzaku as the Knight of Seven and Nunnally as the Viceroy of Area 11.
  • Nina will not work for Schneizel, as she joined the Black Knights at the end of R1.
  • Milly becoming a news reporter will likely not happen due to her affiliation with the Black Knights and Britannia's downfall.
  • Cornelia's hunt for the Geass Order will also be likely taken out, as Euphie is alive and was never Geassed to commit the SAZ Massacre, and both sisters are with the Black Knights.
  • There's a mention that during the 6 months in hiding, the Black Knights found 5 protoforms and turned them into their specialized Knightmares. This means the Starscream Clones story from Transformers: Prime is impossible to do in that exact same way.
  • Bumblebee does not lose his T-Cog, as MECH doesn't exist in this universe, and the Decepticons have no reason to steal a T-Cog at all. The only parts from Operation: Bumblebee that are adapted for the story are the search for the Iacon relics.
  • Britannia's destruction also means that virtually all of the Knightmare frames that they produced in R2 do not show up here, excluding those of the Knights of the Round (all of which debuted in R1) and the Vincent, which was used by Beatrice Franks and Luciano's Valkyrie Squadron in R1 and subsequently replicated by the Black Knights. This is later averted in A United Front Facing the Dark Horizon, as the Vincent Ward and Gareth have been confirmed to be in construction, but under the ownership of the Autobots and Black Knights.
  • Xingke's disease is removed as the author felt it wasn't wholly needed since he only coughed up blood once in the anime and his disease was never brought up again. As a result, Xingke is Abled in the Adaptation.
  • The party from the first episode of Akito the Exiled is omitted, due to Leila not planning to go, as well as her meeting with the Black Knights and Autobots instead.
  • Ryo's gang doesn't try to betray the group at the beginning of the Slonim battle, likely due to the better motivational speeches in this story (that they're outnumbered by Autobots probably helps).
  • Pierre Anou is cut from the story due to serving no real purpose to the plot (his confrontation with Leila happened offscreen and the existence of Ground Bridges negates his ability to mess with the group in Warsaw) and the author finding him annoying.
  • With Airachnid being killed at Castle Weisswolf, the subplot of her being infected with Dark Energon and leading the Insecticons in an attempted mutiny against Megatron is taken out.
  • Air Raid's death in Broken Walls could result in this fate applying to Superion. "Could" because the Autobots have the Enigma of Combination, meaning they could potentially use it to recreate Superion using a different Autobot flyer in Air Raid's place.
  • Since it was destroyed by the rust plague, The Apex Armor can't be used by a human in this story.
  • The New lot of restoring Cybertron via the Omega Lock is excised, as Megatron instead has Shockwave work on subverting the Ragnarok Connection for his own usage.
