And that place must've been filthy too, given how muddy and worn down your purgatory looks.

14''Dormitabis'' is a ''Franchise/FiveNightsAtFreddys'' fangame developed by Blackout. The game was in DevelopmentHell for two years, and received a surprise release on February 25th, 2018. It serves as a fan-made epilogue of sorts to the series' story, only taking the first four games' lore into account while adding its own. 34* AxCrazy: [[spoiler:In the original Dormitabis, the Purple Guy, who is named Garvey Write in both versions of the game, is much, much more demented than ''FNAF''[='=]s William Afton. He killed a grand total of ''fourteen'' people, including eleven children (one indirectly), a female teenager (whom he also raped), Phone Guy, and [[CainAndAbel his brother]]. Even after death, he still hunts John to "pay back" what he has done to him and shows no remorse for what he did whatsoever. On top of all this, Garvey's original motivation was to ruin the reputation of the Cakebear (later Fazbear) brand because some of its employees (including John) [[EvilIsPetty made fun of him for his purple skin]], which he calls a "physical mutation" in one of his tapes.]]
35** While the original Garvey was clearly a powderkeg of hatred, malice and sadism just waiting to be lit up, the remaster scales his crimes back significantly and paints him as more of a victim of SanitySlippage. [[spoiler:Garvey began murdering people to get revenge for John after John became the Bite of '83 victim (though in this timeline John survives), and during his boss fight, Garvey accuses John of being an UngratefulBastard for killing them both despite what Garvey claims to have done for him, though it's clear that he's very much been driven insane by first his murders, then becoming Springtrap and suffering in "purgatory", which he actually believes is Hell.]]
36* BeatStillMyHeart: The game over screen for Night 10 onward as well as part of the cutscene playing after Night 10 feature a human heart on the office table. Two easter egg screens also show the heart among the animatronics and Garvey staking out Havoc Chica's heart.
37* BecomeARealBoy: Kind of. The animatronics are horribly mutilated because Havoc Puppet stitched their plasma imperfectly. They hunt John because they think consuming his plasma will complete them.

45** ''Turned '''all''' the way up for this one, in both versions no less!'' Every single animatronic is absolutely wrecked or {{Gorn}}y, and by all rights should not even function if not for the setting. It's very hard to tell which one is the worst.

47* TheCallsAreComingFromInsideTheHouse: When Phone Guy calls the player the first time, while saying his signature "hello?" the original Phone Guy's voice echoes throughout the purgatory. He then adds that he found "you", meaning his spirit was searching around for the PlayerCharacter.
48* CeilingCling: The Soulcage and [[spoiler:FinalBoss Garvey Write]] cling to the office ceiling in one of each of their attack phases.
49* CombatTentacles: Havoc Puppet resembles some type of a hellish octopus wearing part of the Puppet's mask.

51* CompositeCharacter: [[spoiler:Fritz Smith is interpreted as being the Phone Guy from the first and second games; while that is a ''possibility'' in canon, it's never outright stated, and it's just as likely that Fritz was either his own man or an alias for another character, that being Michael Afton]].
52* CorruptedCharacterCopy: The BigBad and FinalBoss [[spoiler:Garvey Write is depicted as being much worse than William Afton is in the original franchise in the original 2018 game, mostly thanks to Garvey having clearer characterization and crossing the line ''way'' beyond just child murder. In the remaster, Garvey isn't a complete {{Jerkass}} and at least ''thinks'' his evil deeds are for someone else's sake, which actually makes the remastered version of Garvey seem [[VirtuousCharacterCopy morally better than William]]. Of course, William and Garvey are still incredibly evil people, and William is reputable ''because'' he's evil; it's more apparent that this depiction of him alters his characterization in many, many ways that differ from canon.]]
53* DarkerAndEdgier: Moreso even for this series' pantheon of fangames, as it includes {{Mechanical Abomination}}s, a grimdark aesthetic, [[spoiler:and rape]] — compared to other fangames, it feels downright twisted. It also features actual swearing, something that the original ''[=FNaF=]'' and most fangames readily avoid. The remaster omits the [[spoiler:rape]] detail, but maintains the swearing, aesthetic and BodyHorror designs of the antagonists.
54* DarknessEqualsDeath: Zig-zagged in the original, where most animatronics have their jumpscares preceded by the lights turning dark. Once the lights turn on, ''BLAM!''. Unsettlingly, this is also how the nights end when they reach 7 AM, making the situation when animatronics are about to kill you when the clock transitions to 7 AM a HopeSpot.
55** The remaster actually manages to [[InvertedTrope Invert]] this. The jumpscares now occur without the early warning of the lights turning off, which makes them much more startling than in the original, but keeps the lights-turning-off effect for the transition to 7AM.
56* DeadToBeginWith: Your protagonist is killed off before the game started and he is spending the next eleven nights in a purgatory of some sort.
57* DemonicPossession: All animatronics, more or less.
58** Havoc Freddy, Havoc Chica, and Havoc Foxy are possessed by Ted, Maria, and Dave (Jack in the remaster), [[spoiler:three of the four children whom Garvey killed in the 1985 restaurant]].

In both versions of the game, Garvey kills fourteen people and stuffs their bodies into animatronic suits (one body is stuffed in a dumpster) specifically to destroy the reputation of the Cakebear's (later Freddy's) brand. In the original, Garvey also [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil sexually assaults one of his victims]] and is motivated by a [[EvilisPetty hatred of the Cakebear's staff for making fun of his purple skin defect]], while in the remaster, Garvey is [[KnightTemplarBigBrother very overprotective of his brother John]], leading him to kill a child for bullying John in 1982, then slide further into his budding insanity when John is nearly killed during the Bite of '83. Garvey then decides to ruin his brother Peter for owning the Fazbear franchise and "allowing" John to be hurt and kills his other victims to make Peter and the franchise look bad]].

72** Havoc Freddy is driven away when the player hides from him by running to the opposite side of the office, therefore getting out of his view.
73** AMIREAL's mechanic revolves around whether the player is looking at him via the cameras. He doesn't want the player to look at him so he can stay in his ruined form, which allows him to attack the player. Staring at him reverts him to his Cakebear form, in which he is harmless. He operates similarly to an AttentionWhore type of enemy during the main nights, except the player doesn't ''constantly'' have to look at him; he only calls for your attention when he's in a ruined state, at which point the player needs to look at him to drive him away. This does not apply to [[PostFinalBoss Night 12]], in which [[spoiler:he is in his Cakebear form and remains hostile. In that case, however, the player ''has to'' avoid looking at him, as doing so when he enters the office is what causes him to attack.]]
74** Molten Evil is driven away by looking up at the ceiling and averting your eyes whenever he/[[GenderFlip she]] appears in your office.

79** There is a slightly more lighthearted one where you have to tap AMIREAL's nose rapidly as intensifying drums play in the background. Soon AMIREAL will become [[spoiler:Cakebear, the "Give Cake to the Children" Freddy from ''2'', before jumpscaring you and, if you have all 3 keys, granting you access to Night 12]]. The remaster also has this minigame, although with a different soundtrack and requiring you to type in a number every so often.
80** If you notice, the dumpster seen in CAM 1 in Cakebear's Night [[spoiler:contains a corpse. It's likely that this is Garvey's first victim, the child who is killed in the "Give Cake" minigame from ''Five Nights at Freddy's 2'', implying that this was the night when Garvey killed him/her and the last night before Cakebear's had to close its doors]].
