''Spy Hunter'' is a 2001 video game for the Platform/Playstation2, which is a reboot of ''VideoGame/SpyHunter1983''. The game was made similar to a racing game, where players control the car through a chase camera perspective. There are objectives the players need to pursue within a set time limit.

The game has been ported to the [=GameCube=], the [=Xbox=], the Game Boy Advance, Microsot Windows, OS X and Tapwave Zodiac.

Players assume the role of Alec Sects, an International Espionage Services (IES) agent who's tasked to down an evil MegaCorp known as NOSTRA. Daemon Curry, the founder of NOSTRA, is paranoid that the agent deployed in 1983 would be out to get him. So he made plans to take down the original Interceptor to stall Sects from getting to him.
