Instead, there were initially four members of Hat Films (very quickly reduced to three) that did sketch comedies, such as "Director Trott". This ended in August 2010 after the "Frape Away" video did not do as well as Ross hoped.
113	** When the gaming videos did start, the technology the Sirs used was a little more outdated and only focused on Ross' viewpoint for the most part; any time that Trott messed up his footage would be used with "fail cam" plastered on the screen. Smith would also be absent for the odd video because of real life concerns. Nowadays, all three viewpoints are used equally. The trio were also considerably shier, whereas now they are all quite boisterous.

The screen goes grayscale, the sound is replaced by a very sped up version of the beginning of their ''Pixelmon'' parody tune, and there's a pink caption expressing the video editor's feelings.
