To make things worse, the Delinquents and the Rivals will refuse to follow you even if you complete their tasks, some of the students have routines than involve patrolling many parts of the school, all the teachers stay in their respective classrooms at all times ([[AdultsAreUseless though they will ignore every single giggle and scream]], but this unfortunately does not apply to the Gym Teacher in the Faculty Room and the Nurse in the Infirmary), and in 1980s mode, the Journalist is always by the school's entrance and Ryoba's Senpai walks around the school rather than staying in one place at all times like Ayano's Senpai does. Even when using one or two cheat items, it's still a very hard and time-consuming challenge.

About a ''tenth'' of its students are [[ChickMagnet all in love with the same boy]] – [[ObliviousToLove not that he notices]] – and more than half have [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair unnaturally colored hair]] that no one comments on. In all these ways and more, Akademi is a distillation of every anime school that has ever existed.

** Budo/Shin is the preferred Shin pairing, even though many speculate that he'll end up being Oka's suitor. The only reason why is because both don't have their crushes confirmed, also because they have an OppositesAttract dynamic. ** The December 15th 2015 progress update shows Haruto[[note]](the removed Evil/Spiteful red-haired boy who used to talk to Sota)[[/note]] flat-out telling Yan-chan that he knows she killed someone and plans to make sure everyone knows it. Yeah, go ahead and tell the murderer who's already dodged arrest that you plan to wreck her reputation (this ''does'' result in a constant reputation penalty, and if your reputation dips too low, Senpai will reject you and it's GameOver). Way to paint a target on your back, dude. This applies to all Teacher's Pets, Loners, and Social Butterflies who witness you murdering people.
** Yes, Musume, taunt and [[SlutShaming slut-shame]] Kokona [[spoiler:even when she's clearly starting to lose her temper, and has already got you tied up, blindfolded, and alone in some unknown location]]. [[SarcasmMode Clearly, that can only end well for you.]]
** On Friday, Osana can have her phone mysteriously vanish during a shower after someone pours water on her head, only to reappear during class later. Considering the fact that she's already [[spoiler:had poison slipped into a bento she made for Senpai, had a book she was borrowing from him thrown into a fountain, had lewd photos put on her phone (with the EXACT SAME TRICK, mind you), and had her phone alarm turned off so she'd miss a date with Senpai]], you'd think she'd start to suspect some skulduggery by this point, but nope.
** The things Ayano does in "Snap Mode" can be this depending on how the GameOver is triggered. If Taro were to see her carrying a weapon or covered in blood, she could at least ''try'' to convince him that the blood was red paint or that she was taking the weapon to a teacher instead of instantly deciding to kill him and than herself. If a rival confessed her feelings to him, she could simply kill just the rival afterward without him finding out to get her out of the way. No reason to kill him and herself as well. If she has been expelled, seeing how that version begins with her killing Genka, she could simply leave the room afterward and try to avoid being connected to the murder. Given that Genka is killed before Ayano's expulsion could be made known to the school, she could keep coming to school afterward to try and win over Taro. In all of these scenarios, her immediate decision to kill Taro and herself under the belief she would never be able to have him now is mind baffling.

** Mr. Haruka. His wife died, he and his daughter fell into poverty, he had to take out a loan from a dangerous loan shark to get his daughter into school, and is unable to pay back the loan, leaving him in a dangerous situation. It is made even worse in the situations where his daughter is killed or framed for murder, as he loses the last of his family, his taking out the loan and putting himself in the dangerous situation becomes [[AllForNothing pointless]], and he still has to pay back the debt afterward anyway, which he is still unable to do. In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=908F0cP0j4c&t=6s this video]], not only is his daughter arrested for killing Musume, but Mr. Roanshaku will now likely murder him for Kokona killing Musume, so unless he goes to the police for help, he will likely wind up wearing CementShoes.

** Early on, some expressed dislike for Oka's voice, arguing it was too nasal. Her voice has grown on most fans since then.

** According to fans of Jay from Kubz Scouts, Midori's name is pronounced "Midori GURINUUUUU!" and it's preferable to end her [[{{Engrish}} lifu]] with a [[{{Engrish}} knifu]].

** As soon as Raibaru, Osana's Mysterious Obstacle, got officially revealed, fans started pairing her with Osana.
