However, Henry was one of the central heroes in the series, so it was hard to see him as a bad guy. Additionally, after one reads how Frank spent the rest of his life in the following books, Henry was justly concerned.

With Aaron Fletcher taking over in ''Illinois!'', the tong leader is never mentioned again and the assistant secretary is eliminated in a matter of sentences in a way that Tpby never realized he was ever a threat.
