Trying to expand a bit; the third entry is way too general.

** Whereas in the first show he at least lasted a full season and got fleshed out enough before [[spoiler: falling into lava, Terrorsaur dies in this series just barely after ten issues at the hands of Skold. Any potential for IDW Terrorsaur to distinguish himself from his TV counterpart as his own unique incarnation and even enact future schemes to overthrow Megatron are completely thrown out the window. Additionally, assuming they re-tell the Transmetal storyline in the future, we won't even get to see what Terrorsaur would look like as one, considering before his death in the TV show, he was showing signs of becoming a Transmetal]]. [[spoiler:Though Tarantulas was shown taking his body for experiments in the following issue suggesting he may return in some form...]] [[spoiler:Which he does as Tarantulas' mindless, undead slave!]]
** Razorbeast was seemingly killed off almost immediately after being introduced to the series.
** This seems to apply to almost every brand new character original to the comic besides Nyx and Skuld as characters seem to be killed off almost immediately after their introduction. Possibly as a result of IDW losing the license for Transformers and having to wrap things up sooner rather than later.

** This seems to apply to almost every brand new character original to The Children of the comic besides Nyx and Skuld as Vok contain several fan-favorites like Tigatron, along with more obscure characters seem to be like Saberback, but since they're introduced near the end of the comic, [[LastEpisodeNewCharacter most of them in the final issue]], they get barely any focus. It's saying how unimportant and interchangeable most of them are that two of them die in issue 15 but show up in the final issue alongside the rest [[UnexplainedRecovery with no explanation]]!
** Powerhug is introduced in the Annual with no explanation for where he came from, and despite not being
killed off almost immediately after their introduction. Possibly at the end of the issue, he never appears again, not even as a result of IDW losing the license for Transformers and having to wrap things up sooner rather than later.BackForTheFinale deal.
